Welcome to Malawi! This private house is great for the solo traveler on business/pleasure, a family, or a group! Rent the entire 3 bedroom/2 bath guest house. Located in Area 49, the house is minutes from ships, Crossroads, and Game Plaza. Good restaurants also nearby. Right across from Bingu Stadium and Warm Heart Villa, there is also satellite TV, water reserve Tank, hot shower, stand by Generator, fully furnished kitchen with stand by gas cooker in case of blackout, Self catering Free WIFI. This guest house is nestled behind our main family house. While we share a parking area, you will have complete privacy in your home, which is complete with a full kitchen, including a fridge and a gas and electric stove. Don't let Lilongwe power cuts stop you from making a home cooked meal! We also offer laundry service if needed, including ironing. summer heart outside the house is available if you want to work or chill. Guests have full access to parking, the garden spaces in the front and back of the main house, and total access to the guest house. There is usually always someone home so if you need anything just knock on the kitchen door! We are always willing to help our friends! Our family is open and willing to help our guests with whatever they need. If you want directions to a restaurant, or you need advice on where to rent a car, just ask! We are also happy to chat about life in Malawi, places to visit, and what local foods to try! We all speak excellent English. If you just need a quiet space to work/relax, say no more! We will let you be. Area 49 is a quiet, residential neighborhood. The house is right off Presidential Way, making for easy access to City Centre, Gateway Mall, Crossroads, and roads out of town heading toward Mchinji, Salima, and Dowa/Kasungu. If you are a football (soccer) fan, our neighborhood is right across from the new Bingu Stadium. On a major game night you can hear the cheers from your open windows! While we are always happy to provide recommendations for where to rent a car (often easiest for azungu), guests can also access the house via bike taxi, tuk-tuk, or the more conventional mini bus. We will show guests where/how to access these forms of public transportation. We have a night guard on duty from 5:00pm to 6:00am that makes regular patrols around the property and monitors all entry and exit from the main gate. There is no AC, but each room has a high powered fan that provided for air circulation.
