Holualoa Ekolu makes you feel at home. Close to Holualoa Village, Kailua-Kona town, the ocean and beaches, airport, shopping and restaurants. We love the quaint, cool and country atmosphere here in Holualoa. This is a nice home with comfy queen bed in bedroom, walk-in shower, large covered lanai to enjoy the outdoors (with an ocean view of Kailua Bay), smart TV, Wifi, stacked washer/dryer, full kitchen and amenities. There's a sofa sleeper in the living area and twin bed in the walk-in closet. Holualoa Ekolu is clean and comfortable. The large lanai/patio welcomes you to enjoy the ocean view and outdoors. Comfortable for couples, solo adventurers, few friends traveling together and small families. The kitchen is well equipped with full size appliances, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, pots/pans, etc. There is a single serve Kuerig coffee maker and French press for local ground coffee. We provide 4 sets of bath towels, beach towels, some essentials to get you started (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer, some toilet tissue) and clean linens at each check in. There are beach chairs, boogie board and cooler for your outdoor adventures. The house is clean with fresh linens at every check-in. It has two separate living areas. Each with their own entrance, parking and outdoor lanai, no spaces/amenities are shared. This is a family property with a thriving coffee farm. Holualoa Ekolu has 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower, living area with a sofa sleeper, twin bed in the walk in closet for extra sleeping accommodations (it is a closet so not really a space to hang out, curtain for privacy no door), full kitchen, inside stacked washer/dryer. Spacious lanai with an ocean view of Kailua Bay. House will always be clean with fresh linens. We want you to feel at home during your stay and the keypad entry allows you to come and go at your convenience. This property is a family Kona Coffee farm and residence. Our grown kids oversee the farm and we also have an operator on property. We are a text, email or phone call away for questions, recommendations, housekeeping or maintenance needs. Enjoy your stay! Holualoa Village is within walking distance but driving is more convenient. There are galleries, post office, a cafe in the village. Paul's Place and Doris Store are minutes away if you forgot to pick up something while in town. It's nice and cool at this elevation, open air windows and doors will keep a nice breeze going through the house. Many adventures await you during your time here on the Big Island. Some of our favorite beaches are Magic Sands (15 minutes away), Honls, Kamakahonu Bay (in front of the King Kam hotel), Kekaha Kai State Park (Mahaiula's), Kua Bay (Maniniowale Bay), Hapuna Beach to name a few. Snorkeling at Kahaluu Beach, Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau Bay. Deep sea fishing, diving and night charters start from Honokohau Harbor. Scenic valleys in Kohala and along the Hamakua Coast. Waterfalls and the Volcano National Park on the East side of the island. Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa are accessible for those seeking seasonal Hawaiian Snow or a glimpse at the stars. So many adventures, too little time to truly enjoy all our island has to offer! Holualoa is about 15 minutes to Kailua-Kona town. You should find everything you need in town (WalMart, Target, Safeway, Costco, groceries, shopping, fast food, galleries, bars and restaurants.) We are about 30 minutes to Keahole Airport. This home does have 2 separate living areas that may be occupied at the same time. Privacy is a priority and no spaces are shared. This country home offers much more than an apartment/condo type setting. Holualoa does have roosters, birds, mosquitoes and coqui frogs which you will hear at night, especially when it rains. Please no smoking in or near the house. No Pets.
