Hillview is a former miner's cottage in the small village of Halsetown, just 5 minutes by car from St Ives which is renowned for its beautiful beaches and lively Summer atmosphere. The cottage is at the top of the village, well away from traffic and has a child-friendly garden where you can relax after days spent visiting one of the many nearby beaches. The cottage is also conveniently located for day trips to the many West Cornwall attractions. Hillview offers roomy, relaxed accommodation and the opportunity to appreciate fine views of the countryside and some impressive sunsets. Upstairs the cottage has 3 bedrooms (one double, one twin and a small third bedroom) plus the bathroom. Downstairs there is an open plan dining/lounge area, complete with a woodburning stove and original beams. The well equipped kitchen connects to the conservatory and then out into the garden where there's a barbeque and picnic table. There is parking space for one vehicle by the cottage. Hillview is within safe walking distance of St Ives by public footpath (~30mins), down through the fields and small lanes. In the Summer frequent bus services run to and from St Ives from a bus stop in the village. The Halsetown Inn offers good food.
