Just a stones throw from the world famous surfing spot of Fistral Beach is Fistral Sands Cottage. This stunning three bedroom Cornish Cottage is situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac and has parking for 2 cars on the adjoining drive. Downstairs there is a large lounge which opens out onto the patio, a dining room for 6, a fully equipped kitchen and a utility room which houses a washing machine and a tumble drier. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms...the main bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuite bathroom including a shower, the 2nd bedroom also has a king size bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is also a family bathroom which has a bath/shower. Wifi is available with codes provided on arrival. A Samsung Smart TV should ensure you don't miss too many of your favourite viewings. Bedding is provided but NOT towels. The back garden is south facing so plenty of sun can be enjoyed along with a BBQ (provided) and some chilled drinks (not provided). The cottage is available to families and couples aged 23 & over. There is a no smoking policy in the property. Pets are not allowed. From the cottage it's a 5 minute walk to Fistral Beach where you will find the lovely Sea Spray Cafe for coffee and snacks, lunch or evening meals. Surfboards can be hired from the office below the cafe. A stroll along the beach brings you to the main beach complex where Rick Stein's and The Fish House (both award winning restaurants) are situated. Also there are The Stable which provides quality pizzas and cider and Fistral Beach Bar with it’s giant decking area which gives you great views over the beach and the breaking surf. Also on the complex you will find shops, surf hire, surf lessons and showers. Other nearby walks are down to the Gannel Estuary which leads to the quaint village of Crantock or along the rugged coastline of Pentire Headland where you can pop into the Lewinnick Pub to top up energy levels. The walk into Newquay town takes 10/15 minutes where you will find the 3 town beaches of Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne...all 3 beaches are lovely...each with its own different vibe. The town has numerous great places to eat and drink and there are the usual surf shops etc to enjoy should the sun not be shining. At the back of the town you will find Newquay zoo, tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), children’s play area with a miniature train, a swimming pool with slides, a gym, crazy golf, trampoline park, a skate park and boating lake. Also you can take a tour of the town on the land train which starts from Newquay zoo.
