This is an excellent location, walkable to the heart of downtown Ithaca and the pedestrian Commons, and minutes away from Cornell, Ithaca College, and our beautiful parks and trails. This is a downstairs apartment that is the perfect size for one or two people, and it accommodates longer stays for business travelers, academics or others looking for a home-away-from-home very nicely. It can accommodate up to four people with the use of the sofa bed. This apartment has a "bonus" space which is currently set up as an office/reading room. The kitchen is newly remodeled and is equipped for complete meal prep if you feel like cooking. Head out to our many local restaurants if you don't! Fall Creek is a desirable neighborhood in Ithaca with a family-friendly character. PorchFest, Ithaca Festival and Streets Alive! are three local festivals that bring neighbors out on our surrounding streets. Other events in downtown Ithaca include Apple Harvest Festival, Chili Cookoff, Ithaca Ice Festival, Wizarding Weekend, summer music on the Commons & more! Our place is the PERFECT location to enjoy the Ithaca Festival Parade, which passes right by. Parking is a hot commodity but you'll already be in the center of the action! Walk, bike, drive, or TCAT (that's our local bus system) - Fall Creek is accessible by all modes of transportation. The bus station is in downtown Ithaca - a short cab ride, or fairly long (but doable) walk away. Flying into Ithaca? The airport is less than 10 minutes away, and taxis can get you to Fall Creek easily. We love dogs and we'd love to host yours, but we'll need a little more information from you first.
