Simple elegance in Taos
Come relax, write, ski or hike! Be enchanted by our sunsets while you snuggle into our well appointed casita. Cook a gourmet meal in our eat in kitchen. Bake a pie after picking your own apples, peaches and raspberries (when in season) 100 yards from your front door! Sit out on the porches on our 10 acre farm and listen for a coyote howl. PLUS! We are a fast 40 minutes to Taos Ski Valley. See why Taos was chosen by Outside Magazine as one of "The 16 Best Places to Live in the U.S. 2016." Our space is just over 800 ft.² and is well appointed. It has an eat-in kitchen with granite countertops, dishes, cookware, washer dryer, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. There is a QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA in the living room, a 50" flatscreen TV, games, puzzles, books and a Pack & Play for our smallest visitors. The bedroom is done in white and turquoise for a calm, relaxed vibe. We strive to utilize allergy reducing materials such as bamboo sheets, pillows and unscented laundry detergent. There is a 32" smart TV in the bedroom. The casita has front and back covered porches, slate flooring in the living room and hardwood in the bedroom. There are heated floors throughout. The property is surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. Guests can pick apricots, apples and peaches on the property in late summer. Guests will have some access to our farm which would include picking apricots and apples seasonally. We also have a Pack & Play for the younger set.👍🏼 If we are in town, I’ll keep an eye out to come and say hello, but we have contactless check in with a door code that will be messages to you a day before your arrival. We are only 1.25 miles from the center of town, yet our property abuts Pueblo land. It is peaceful with flowers and fruit trees in summer and an easy 40 minute drive to Taos Ski Valley in any season. Alternative transportation can be iffy. It's probably best to rent a vehicle if you're not driving your own. Taos has more artist per capita than Paris France. We have many restaurants which are both reasonably priced and higher end. We average 300 days of sunshine per year. Come to ski or enjoy our unique history, traditional and contemporary arts, petroglyphs, white water rafting, hiking, etc. Our sunsets alone are show stoppers! Outside magazine voted Taos one of the top 16 places to live in the US on more than one occasion. Come see why!
