Our little slice of paradise is located in Ocean View Hawaii half way between Kona and Hilo. A beautiful place to enjoy the island flow free from crowds and filled with peace. We have views of south point the most southern point of The United States. At night the you can experience millions of twinkling stars as we are in one of the special places on earth free of light pollution allowing views of the stars rarely seen with the naked eye Our 3 acre property has beautiful trails for you to wander around that are filled with over a 100 different varieties of Orchids, an orchid tree, palm trees, Bougainvillea, Ohia trees, and Hibiscus that all filled with glorious blooms at different times of the year. We also have fruit trees including Mango , Guavas, citrus varieties, a pineapple garden, Bananas, and dragon fruit. We have coffee trees, Mamaki tea and the list goes on of amazing plant life to explore. The guest house where you will be staying boast a stunning view of the ocean for you to enjoy every morning and sunsets in the evenings. The layout is one main room that has two beds - one on each side of the room separated by a full length privacy curtain if you so choose. It also includes a kitchenette, a half bath and full bath. Please avail yourselves a walk on the many trails to see what’s in bloom As hosts it's nice to know an approximate time of your arrival so we will be ready to greet you and show you to the Ohana. It's My intent is to be a hands-off host and let you enjoy your peace and quite. If however you are in need of something I'm only a text message away. Our little community has 2 small grocery stores, 3 gas stations, a post office, a pizza place , Ace Hardware, laundry mat, several small shops and eateries within 5 minutes. 5 minutes Kai Loki's Restaurant and Bar 10 minutes to Kula Kai Caverns 15 minutes to Manuka State Park with wonderful hiking trails and picnic tables for eating at. 15 minutes to Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park Kahuku Unit 20 minutes to old Hawaii towns Waiohinu and Naalehu which have weekly farmer's markets on Fridays and Wednesdays 30 minutes to South Point to jump off the 50' Cliff, and Green Sands Beach. The beach is about a 3 mile hike in, or you can pay one of the locals to drive you to it. 30 minutes from Punalu'u Black Sand Beach a well known home to our beautiful Honu (sea turtles) 1 hour to Kona 1 hour to Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park 1.5 Hours to Hilo We offer high speed fiber optic internet with WIFI averaging 500 Mbps download speed and 250 Mbps upload speed. Ethernet runs 1gps A cord is available upon request. Kitchen appliances available in the kitchenette includes coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, hot plate, air-fryer, and a rice cooker. There are always paper plates, utensils, paper towels, cleaning supplies and plenty of bath towels available. Occasionally there is early check in available if this will benefit your schedule. Please inquire before arrival.
