A high efficiency cold climate heat pump heats and cools the unit. There is a natural gas fireplace for Ambiance and extreme cold weather heat back up to the heat pump system. A very high quality queen sofa sleeper ( note: NO cross bar ) sleeps 2 for additional guests, maximum 4. The apt comfortably sleeps 4, but the space is small, the 3 season covered porch adds more space to move about and relax. We have great on-site tenants/caretakers in the front apartment of this charming late 1800's duplex with the Airbnb suite as the back apartment. NOTE: Both separate apartments with private entrances. The Airbnb unit has an entry porch, for additional living space with very large windows so you feel like you are outside! We included many nice touches, like organic sheets and comforter, marble countertops, subway tiled shower, heated bathroom and kitchen floors for cooler weather comfort. Included also is a High Quality Nikken Air Wellness filtration system-making the "Burlington Walkabout" truly a "Health and Wellness Retreat". Parking only on the right side of the driveway please. There is a covered porch that is part of the Airbnb apartment for your exclusive use. We live close by in Burlington . We are available by cell phone/text or home phone for questions, area recommendations. In the event we are unavailable, our on site Caretakers, Mitch and Brielle, can assit. This is a working class neighborhood ( Not a student resident neighborhood ) but in the heart of the city. You can park your car, and walk to everything. Put your walking shoes on and GO! There is a bus station in Burlington, walking distance. Taxi's, Uber, are also available. Due to Covid cleaning protocols, we have a strict 4pm or after check in, and 10 am or before check out. For early check in by 1 pm, there is a $25.00 add'l fee. For late check out by noon, there is a $25.00 add'l fee. This is based on availability of cleaners. Burlington is a typical city, so be sure to lock your vehicles. This is generally considered a very safe part of downtown.
