Breezy Woods Cabin is the perfect choice for a quiet and relaxing getaway. This beautiful log home is secluded in the heart of nature and is surrounded by greenery for optimal privacy. The master bedroom is larger than usual and includes an alcove with a Spa tub. The living room is bright with a vaulted ceiling and large west facing gable windows. The space has many windows throughout. The newly upgraded back deck features ample seating to sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening soak in the private hot tub. You can also gather around the recently expanded firepit for s’mores. This mountain retreat is also just far enough from the city to enjoy amazing stargazing without the usual “light” pollution. Breezy Woods is a short drive to Gatlinburg (8.7mi) and Pigeon Forge (10mi). Both towns feature an array of restaurants, local boutiques, breweries/wineries, and kids’ activities. A very private cabin that is close to both Gatlinburg (8.7mi), Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, (10 mi) the Glades Art District (2.7mi), Smoky Mountains Sugarlands Visitor Entrance (11.5mi), and the Gatlinburg Community Center (5.4mi) which offers an indoor pool, bowling, tennis, aerobics, and racquet ball. It is also convenient to several horseback riding stables. -Downstairs Living Room/Kitchen is very spacious, has a stacked stone Fireplace, Full Bathroom, Smart TV and BluRay Player and Bedroom with King bed, Spa Tub, and TV/BluRay. Oven and Refrigerator are new as of March, 2022. -Upstairs loft has a Full Futon, Full Bathroom, Stack Washer/Dryer (with iron and board), Pool Table, Space Invaders Arcade and board games. The covered front porch has two rocking chairs. The back deck has a Propane Grill, 4 chairs, and a Hot Tub, and has been newly upgraded with new railings (with Pig fencing for enhanced view), and Fiberon composite deck flooring. Why propane? It is not uncommon for the area to have fire restrictions. Also, it seems most guests would rather not hassle with bringing their own charcoal and fluid. If the tank runs out, or if you want to be proactive, you can do a tank exchange at several nearby locations and we will reimburse you if you provide a copy of the receipt. The unit comes stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, cookware, linens and bath towels, several rolls of toilet paper and paper towels, and trash bags. There are a few amenities (coffee packet, small shampoo, hand soap) to cover 1 or 2 nights but prepare to bring or purchase incidentals, like bath soap, shampoo/conditioner if staying longer. There is a drip coffee maker and filters. BYO Coffee. Guest access Two days before your arrival we will email you with check-in details. No meeting for keys, just arrive at the cabin! Other things to note (i.e. the red tape): - All guests must be 25+ (children with parents are allowed) - 6 Person Max (4 will be more comfortable) - 3 Vehicle Max - No Pets - We provide a start of toilet paper and paper towels. You may need to buy more. - Bears are dangerous. - The fireplace is turned off April 1 to October 1, as are most cabins in the area. - We do not have access to high-speed internet, just Satellite internet. This is not big-city internet. Also note you may lose access during storms. It does include 2.4g and 5g WiFi. - You are in the mountains/woods. You will hear noises at night. The roof is metal. Critters love to skitter across it from time to time. - The cabin is in the mountains; we highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle during the snow months. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep, including the turn onto our street and driveway. - We are owner operated. Breezy Woods isn’t just a business, it’s our family’s getaway too.
