Cruise along the River Dee on one of the tourist boats or enjoy a rowing or motor boat so you can go at your own pace. The Grosvenor Park sits next to the River Dee where you can enjoy walking along the many paths with a large play area for children and a cafe that serves light lunches and snacks. Hop onto one of the red tourist buses that tour around Chester and point out local landmarks with running commentary. One of the main attractions of Chester is its large Racecourse and it's race meets which happen frequently during the summer months. Chester Zoo is one of the most famous zoo's in the country and is a must see if you are coming to the area with children.
