Coco Chalet is located on the south western side of Tobago, close to Mount Irvine Bay's famous 18-hole Golf Course and not far from several popular beaches. High ceilings with wooden accents and stone walls bring to mind a more temperate climate, an ’après-ski’ shelter of sorts. In this very different setting of green slopes full of fruit trees and no fireplace in sight, you can’t help but feel like ”yuh reach” - finally arrived in the tropics. This fully self-contained and self-catering holiday home is perfect for couples and families who are looking for a quiet getaway in a very central location. All three en-suite bedrooms are air-conditioned with small fully enclosed balconies overlooking the pool and surrounding sun terrace. The villa can comfortably accommodate 6 guests, plus one of the bedrooms has a loft which can accommodate 2 of the more adventurous persons in your party ’up for a climb’. The covered porch is ideal for al fresco dining and enjoying the warm breezes and the Caribbean Sea in the distance. I give my guests space but am available when needed to offer help throughout their stay. One of our team will be waiting at the villa to hand keys over, and give you a quick tour of the place. If I am not able to do this initial meet-and-greet, I am happy to come welcome you in person the next day, to introduce and also answer any questions you may still have about the place. You will need to present a valid, full driving license, and be over the age of 25. There are buses, for which you will be able to purchase your ticket in advance from a local store. Taxis are available – ‘unofficial taxis’ or maxi taxis. Tobago has a regulated taxi service and are recognized with a registration letter ‘H’ on the license plate, although there is a network of unofficial taxis that charge less.
