Beautiful, cozy, clean, private, spacious and simple studio in an open country hillside location. This studio has lots of natural lighting and high ceilings. Private bathroom with a shower. Studio has a part ocean view with a private patio with a full ocean view. Stay in the peacefulness of nature yet only drive 10 minutes to Hilo; 15 minutes to Hilo Airport; +40 minutes to Hawaii Volcano Nat'l Park. Studio is cozy, tall ceiling, big windows, and in nature surrounded by 7 acres. Studio includes comfortable queen size bed, couch(king fold out bed), dining table, hot plate,microwave, small refridgerator, and coffee maker. *Please note- the studio does not have a full kitchen. * The studio is mostly stand alone- does share the front porch to other home. There is a private porch in the back of studio with a table+chairs and an ocean view. There are 3 resident spaces in the main building; the property is 7 acres of grassland and trees surrounding. Horses and cows nearby in a separate pasture. The road to the house is a dirt/gravel road so please drive slowly, there are several unmarked speedbumps. Any kind of car can access the house if driving slowly and using caution. Guests have a close parking spot near their studio. The studio is equipped with a microwave, hot plate, coffee maker, dishes, and a small refrigerator. There is not a kitchen sink- just the bathroom sink. Guests are welcome to sit on private porch near the studio, use barbecue, or walk the road in the neighborhood. Your choice for a self check in or to be greeted/checked in either by the caretaker or the landlords Mark and Sharon (depending on time of year.) Please feel free to ask for recommendations/questions/concerns you may have. This studio is 20 feet away from the 2 bedroom vacation rental and has 7 acres of grassland surrounding the unit. Peaceful landscape with horses and cows along the drive up, part of the rural beauty of Hamakua coast but close to Hilo. The stand alone studio has a private patio overlooking the ocean. This is a quiet and peaceful location with a perfect temperature and breeze. We are located 10 minutes to Hilo, 10 minutes to the nearest beach (Honolii Beach Park), and 50 minutes to the Volcanoes National Park((Re-opened 9/22) Also Hawaii Botanical gardens and Akaka Falls are nearby. Public buses run on the belt highway about half mile from our house, but take more time. +Close to Onomea Scenic Route,Botanical Gardens,Akaka Falls, +20 minutes Richardson's Beach, Honolii Beach. +50 minutes to Volcano National Park. +50 minutes to Waipio Valley There is small area with hot plate, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker although( there is not a kitchen sink). -We have a Roku unit with flat screen TV where you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Youtube etc. The studio accommodates up to four people(2 beds) if using fold out couch. Please let us know before arrival if you would like it set up. The studio is private- it doesn't share any walls with other buildings although it is 20 feet from the main 2 bedroom house area.
