Corn, Sarah and Barbara look forward to welcoming our guests to our lovely, friendly home. Expect as much privacy as you need but if you feel like a chat on the verandah while the sun is going down you are welcome. We want you to feel welcome and cared for. Our home is architecturally unique being of the distinctive style. Also we are unique. Corn is a rather well known knifemaker (see SMIT Knives on facebook). Sarah is a teacher but when at home loves entertaining and looking after visitors. Barbara is the extremely charming matriarch of the family. Edie and Pachie who work for us are also wonderful cooks and so no-one goes hungry in our home. We also have some lively, sociable dogs and a grumpy cat. You will obviously have your comfortable bedroom, access to the main lounge with satellite television, the verandah, pool area, garden etc. We are round the corner from the local sports club which has a very good kitchen and gym. We are also able to provide packed lunches and a two course dinner at extra cost and if ordered in the morning. We hope that you wilbyl feel welcome enough to sit and chat to us when you get hom sie in the evening but also are quite happy if you would rather be alone. We live in Newtown in Kwekwe which is near to everywhere. Private taxis are the best and most economical way of getting around. Would not recommend public transport as the drivers are sometimes a little creative in their interpretation of traffic rules. We are also close enough to town for you to walk. We can also help where possible. Their are some tourist attractions - the paper house and mining museum for example. Their are also several wildlife conservancies. Corn is also always game for a spot of fishing and has enough equipment for everyone.
