Aspen Court is located in the heart of Duck Creek Village on beautiful Cedar Mountain in Utah. We are a work in progress, which currently hosts Rental Cabins, a Gazebo with Outdoor Kitchen, & Several RV Spaces. We are nestled in close proximity to Navajo Lake, Duck Creek Pond, & within walking distance to Aspen Mirror Lake. Our elevation is 8400 feet. It can be very chilly even in the middle of summer. It snows Nov-April. Remember to purchase groceries in nearby Cedar City before making the 29 mile trip to Duck Creek. Duck Creek has a hardware store & a gas station, with a very limited amount of necessities nearby. We are in the mountains and although we subscribe to the internet and have WIFI, we sometimes have spotty service, especially if you are accessing the internet from your phone. AT&T gets the best service and if you have any other cellular service your access will be most likely be diminished. Since we are located in the Village, our cabins are not remote or secluded, so as to allow convenience to access Highway 14, for easy travel to Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, & Cedar Breaks. We are midway between Bryce Canyon (approximately 52 miles away) and Zion National Park (approximately 48 miles away). Cedar Breaks is approximately 25 miles from our location. There will be someone available for check in or if guest have questions at all times. We do respect our guests privacy, so will not interfere unless we are asked. There is no public transportation available on Cedar Mountain. There are several places to rent ATV's or snowmobiles. We would recommend that you carry chains in your vehicle, just in case it snows, during late fall, winter, or early spring. Remember to purchase groceries in nearby Cedar City before making the 29 mile trip to Duck Creek. Duck Creek has a hardware store & a gas station with a very limited amount of necessities, nearby. We do carry personal care items just in case you leave them behind, so please don't hesitate to ask us. Please disclose if you have any pets, how many and what type, as we reserve the right to approve them, prior to your renting our cabin. If approved all animals shall be kept off of all furniture and bedding, no exceptions. Animals cannot be left unattended unless they are in a kennel, at any time. Dogs must be properly leashed when outside. There is an additional fee of 50.00 per stay if you wish to bring more than one dog. three dogs or more are not allowed. Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10am.
