This charming room is just a short stroll thru the beautiful Kehena Beach Estates neighborhood, to the world famous, clothing optional, Kehena black sand beach. A beautiful jungle view from the lanai and high cedar ceiling and walls bring the beauty of outdoors inside your comfortable room for two. We also have a second room available, Angel’s Nest2 @ Kehena Beach, It is slightly smaller and therefore slightly cheaper. Perfect if you need two rooms for your group. Our home is a beautiful cedar octagon home on an extra large lot bordering on state land providing for extra privacy. Your peaceful room has it's own entrance and lanai for your enjoyment. Also a modest kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Our neighborhood is small, beautiful, peaceful, quiet and charming, perfect for strolling thru, either on your way to the beach or just for the sake of a stroll thru the neighborhood. You may enjoy the vine swing on one of your strolls or just the many beautiful flowers and plants. You may discover one of the lesser known paths to the ocean. Perhaps you may want to hike to the lava, it's just a few miles down the famous "red road". At the end of the "red road" you will find Uncle Robert's awa bar, be sure to check out the Wednesday night market at Uncle's, it's the place to be! Next door to Uncle's is the Kalapana Café, a great place to get something tasty to eat. Going the other way on the "red road" just a short distance (still in the neighborhood) is the Ramashala Yoga retreat and just a mile or so farther is the Kalani Honua Yoga retreat. In between those two is "Space" where there is a fabulous farmers market on Saturday. A few more miles down red road you will find Ahalanui beach park, also known as the warm pond. Further still you will find Kapoho tide pools, a famous snorkeling spot. Sunday there is the Makuu market, it is the largest of the markets. Also on Sunday there is ecstatic dance at Kalani and the drum circle at Kehena Beach, so much to do, so little time! best to have a car, the bus goes by twice a day except Sundays, but unless you plan to pretty much stay put or hitchhike, you will need a car.
