Relax with a fire by the creek, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Bridger Mountain range. Half a mile from world class fishing on the Gallatin river. We have 2 very comfortable rooms for rent. This Country room on Baker Creek is located on the lower level. The rooms have their own entrance .It is a spacious room with vieuws of the Bridger mountains, a flatscreen tv, 2 extra large long twin beds .The Country Room sits near a nice lower floor great room, which has a large flatscreen tv, a couch, books, and a kitchenette with a 2 burner induction hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker/ hot water, toaster and a dinette. It has everything you need to make or warm up your meals. The bedroom shares a bathroom with the other room. Our guests have their own separate entrance. From our drive way, walk towards the house . Turn left before the porch , and go around the house, using the walkway. There is a door on your right, that enters our home. As you enter, our guests walk into our home with a stairwell going down. Your room will be on the right , on the end of the hallway, and has your name it. You’re welcome to use the great room downstairs, with the big screen tv, and couch, to relax after a busy day .There’s a little kitchenette area that has all the essentials for you to make or warm up your meals. There’s books and games as well. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer upstairs if you give us a days notice, so we can make sure it’s available to you. Our property is about 1.2 acres, and you are welcome to explore our yard, the vegetable garden, and the greenhouse. There’s a fire pit close to the creek, a horseshoe area, and lounge chairs for you to enjoy . Say hello to our chickens. This is a place to relax, have fun, and to savor Montanas countryside. Lynn and Martina Livingston are your hosts. They are a retired couple who love to engage their guests in conversation. Martina was raised in Holland and lived there for 30 years. Lynn is an American,and was an engineer for 35 years.They lived together in Holland, Canada and California. They are new to Montana, but are well traveled and enjoy talking to their guests and learning about their experiences and travels. However, everyone's privacy is always respected. Their guests can find them usually on the property. Martina loves to cook, and guests can often find her in the kitchen. Lynn is the handyman and landscaper. He is mostly outside and in the garden, when possible. On Baker Creek is located in the bucolic agricultural countryside of Montana. Our home is nestled across the street from public lands and is a great place for hiking and dog walking. We are surrounded by lovely farm fields, and most of the year there are sheep and horses grazing within view . There is also a pottery maker nearby. We are just a few minutes away from the Gallatin river, and close to the headwaters of the Missouri, Madison and Jefferson rivers for some of the best fly fishing. Our guests will appreciate our close proximity to the airport, shopping and restaurants, all within 5 miles from our home. Belgrade is 5 miles. Bozeman is 13 miles. Big sky is 44 miles. Yellowstone National Park is 90 miles. Bridger bowl is 17 miles. There is no public transportation. However, there is a free bus system, "Streamline " within Bozeman city limits. We also have "Uber " , and there is a Belgrade taxi service available. We have housekeeping clean the downstairs every 2 weeks, but we ask you to keep things cleaned and picked up. Especially food items. There’s also a cleaning closet downstairs, and a linen closet with extra sheets and towels if you need them.
