Self contained apartment at the bottom floor of our house. Located on the scenic East Coast of Barbados, in the Parish of St. John, where nature is abundant; on the country side , less populated part of the island, surrounded by different crops and with a magnificent view of the Atlantic ocean. A place for true relaxation. Nearby attractions: St. Johns Parish Church, Codrington College, Andromeda & Hunts Gardens, Bath Beach, Bathsheba (the surfers town) and breathtaking trails for hiking. The property surroundings are very inviting to be in tune with nature. At the back of the property, there is a nice sitting area with benches, a brick grill and fruit trees. If you are looking for a restful holiday, peaceful, restorative and adventurous this is your place. There is a beautiful sea view at the East and crops to the west, north and south. Guess have access to all green areas within the property, the outdoors grill and sitting area around it, the car park and laundry room. Both, George and I, enjoy meeting people from different countries and or cultural backgrounds and had experience as hosts for many years through couch surfing . We live on the main house, so guests will be able to interact with me in the morning until mid day and again in the evening. George is usually at home in the early afternoon. Guests can reach us via mobile (call, whatsapp). No phone fixed line in property. The neighborhood is very calmed; only farmers , their crops, domestic and wild animals live around. In here is ONE with NATURE, this is what makes it special. A place to distress, re charge with the energies of the Earth and heal. Great for outdoor adventures: hiking, surfing (near by), mountain biking, yoga, camping. Other places of interest close by : Ocean Echo Stables (they provide nice horse riding tours), scenic drive along East Coast Road towards Morgan Lewis Wind Mill and Cherry Tree Hill. Public transportation is available on this side of the island , about 10 minutes walk from the property you will find one of the bus stops; however you may find yourself waiting for a long time for the bus to pass. A rental car or scooter may make your holiday experience more practical and enjoyable. A male and female mountain bikes are available for the guests to use. Sometimes guests can catch a ride to and from town with me , if we coordinate with time. The beach “Bath Beach and the natural springs are just a walk away! The sun is strong here with the nice winds from the Atlantic. Wear your sunblock lotion!
