Interior: Exterior: A large wrap around deck has ample patio furniture to enjoy views and sunsets. A propane grill is also on the deck, though you might have to fill propane if it happens to be out. Also 6 Adirondack chairs around the waterfront fire pit. Plenty of parking and turnaround. The side door has a key code to enter the home. Instructions and code access will be sent the morning of your stay. Also inside you will find a welcome book with lots of location information on places to eat and visit. We will be available throughout your stay if anything is needed. This home is with in 10 min from local town with grocery store and restaurants will all amenities needed. Also, property is 10 min from local beach and hiking trails. Acadia at Schoodic Point is 20 minutes away with bike & kayak rentals as well as the ferry to Bar Harbor. Acadia National park is 30 miles away with driving distance of 45 min. Close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor but far enough away to get the coastal Maine feel without the tourist traps. Plenty of parking and easy to navigate. You’ll drive across a causeway to get into Bar Island. Water access in front of the house as well as just down the road. Plenty of hiking and biking trails near the house. Wild life (bunnies and deer) usually will visit the property daily. Boat tours minutes away. Restaurant and grocery store are 10 minutes away.
