In Hawaiian terms of where the apartment is located is Moku Waianae and the southern most part of Ahupuaa Makaha This apartment complex was built in the 1970s. The structure consists of post-tension concrete slabs over fully grouted concrete masonry unit walls. We believe our second floor apartment is very cozy great for relaxing. This is our home while in Hawaii so please enjoy and treat is as it was yours. Guest Access - On property parking is available. The units parking stall is currently occupied, however, you may use first come first serve visitor stalls in front of the unit. Guests must check in at the security office to obtain an TEMPORARY parking pass. This parking pass must be returned upon checking out of the property. You will be steps from the beach with direct access. Laundry facilities are right next to the stairs. There are 2 pools and a BBQ area near the larger pool on property. You have access in the apartment, if you see it you can use it, except for the emergency supplies labeled for such. Guest must be self sufficient. The Waianae Coast is beautiful yet rugged with many sandy beaches. The area is blue collar with very few tourist. Diving, fishing, horseback riding and hiking are all possible in the area. The majority of the people here at the complex are locals, some work and many are retired. Please be mindful and keep noise levels at an acceptable level. There is public transit for a low fee with a stop right in front of the property. Otherwise you can rent a vehicle at the airport upon arrival. There is a white 3 ring binder on the counter or it may be placed in the hallway closet labeled "House Rules". It contains important information about the complex.
