GEORGEHAM STABLES OVERVIEW Set in the idyllic Georgeham village, only a few minutes’ drive from renowned blue-flag Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe beaches, THE STABLES is a character-filled stone barn conversion. Much love has been shown in the restoration of this old stone cottage, with contemporary finishes, yet the barn maintains an old charm. THE STABLES has two en suite bedrooms as well as a large downstairs wet room, perfect for washing off after an afternoon’s surf, and a Putsborough car parking pass is included. Other highlights are the cosy wood burner and large first floor open plan living space. The village of Georgeham adjoins Croyde and has two great pubs serving locally sourced produce, and a village store selling a wide range of produce. LIVING AREAS The upper living area consists of beautiful solid oak wood flooring and serves as an open plan kitchen diner and living area, with high apex ceilings and window-lights and a brown six seater. For cuddling up in winter there is a modern wood burner. The lounge area consists of beautiful solid oak flooring, a 48 inch smart TV & with Streaming services including NETFLIX, AMAZON VIDEO, IPLAYER etc. A Blu-Ray player, DVD/Blu-Ray selection and a selection of family games, books and Amazon Alexa smart speaker. The dining table comfortably seats four but can extend to seat 6 with additional foldaway seating supplied. A high chair is provided. Stair gates are also available. KITCHEN The fitted kitchen appliances include: dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, fan assisted oven, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, additional separate freezer; toaster, kettle, blender, and all other crockery and utensils (including childrens cutlery and crockery) you would expect in a home of this standard. BEDROOMS Bedroom 1: First floor master bedroom & en-suite shower room, with a fantastic roof light window above a king size double bed. There is a double wardrobe with hanging and shelf space. Bedroom 2: Large and versatile ground floor bedroom, perfect for a couple or kids, with a double bed as well as a bunk bed. This room also hasan en suite shower room, as well as a TV and DVD player. A travel cot is provided. OUTDOORS Outside the barn is a lovely enclosed decked area with rattan garden furniture, parasol and charcoal BBQ. Within easy walking distance is the village recreation ground with children’s play area. Putsborough beach is just a few minutes drive away and a Putsborough car parking pass is included. BATHROOMS Bathroom 1: En suite shower room to Bedroom 1, with a large shower area, basin, WC and heated towel rail, all set in natural limestone. Bathroom 2: En suite shower room to Bedroom 2, with a large shower area, basin, WC and heated towel rail, all set in natural limestone.
