This secluded Nest Cottage gives a homey intimate feel, unique and tranquil. The Nest Cottage gives you an experience of living in your own private tree house surrounded by lush tropical trees and birds, perfect for early morning bird watching. As you enter The Nest Cottage you are greeted with a rustic chic style lounge area with a work space and an option of extra sleeping space. The kitchen which has panoramic views of the valley and beyond making you feel like your one with nature. Our spacious bedroom is situated upstairs with surrounding windows giving you the full view of the valley and surrounding mountains. With double french doors leading to a wrap around balcony. Wake up to see the sunrise from your bed or watch the ever changing colours of sunset from your private veranda with the moon rising over the mountain top. The Nest Cottage biggest secret is it’s private outdoor bath tub which is perfect for a romantic bath enjoying nature’s glory or just a evening soak under the stars. We have a communal leisure area on property where you can meet other guests, relax, play games or choose a books from our library or old fashion chat. This is also where you can gain access to our internet. Guests have access to our outside gym area that fits in with our rustic style. We also have gazebo privately tuck away from the main property, with a sun deck, chill out sitting area with a pool table and dart board Around the property are open spaces for games, yoga, exercise, or just chilling, listening to the river. Guests has full access to the 5 acre farm at there own risk. When ever needed If you are looking for peace and serenity where you can escape the stresses of life, here is the place to be. The property is situated on a 5 acre coffee farm, about 50 minutes from Kingston. Not only is the delicious blue mountain coffee grown on the property but we also have a variey of fruit and vegetables. Come to experience the full beauty of the blue mountains. If you love the outdoors, you can enjoy a hike along local rivers and waterfalls. For the more adventurous guests there are many hiking trails to explore around the area. We offer a pick up service from Kingston airport, tours around the Blue Mountains and the whole of Jamaica. It's easy to explore the area by yourself and we have a map which show local eateries and bars. Durung the day we can provide transportation to any destinations in Kingston. For cheaper transport options there are local busses and taxis that leave regularily from Red Light District and goes into Papine in Kingston. *PLEASE NOTE that it is a 30min walk to Red Light District* In Papine you can find multiple taxis and busses to take you onwards to anywhere around Kingston. We do advise to try and get to us before 6pm as after this time it is hard to get local transport. If your driving it is difficult driving up the mountain in the dark. We have safe parking if you are planing to drive up to us. Please note : that once off the main B1 route the roads are country roads.     The Nest Cottage is a self catering unit so pls bring snacks and food supplies. As a option you can order Jamaican cuisine evening meals from the community chef which is delivered to the guesthouse. We are located off the B1 route in the direction of New Castle coming from Kingston. If you are making your own way here pls contact us to get directions and pictures of land marks to look out for along the route. Pls try and get here before dark, which is about 6pm. (Pls be advised that the mountain roads can be affected by weather and storms and so can be challenging at some parts. If you are going to arrive later than 6pm please inform us as we are off the main rd and it is can be a challenge to drive to us after dark.
