Our home at Hillside Villas in the Ko'Olina Resort is updated (carpet, paint, furniture, bedding, decorations, appliances, and now completely renovated master and guest bathrooms) to provide a cozy and comfortable stay in Ko'Olina. Enjoy the community pool, the close wonderful lagoons of Ko'Olina, and the many amazing places of Oahu. The 3 bedrooms and living area provide a soft landing for your family to recover from the day's activities, prepare for the next adventure, or simply recharge. We have updated and replaced nearly everything so it is fresh, inviting, and comfortable. As an end unit, we have additional natural lighting that interior units do not have. Our particular unit is at the end of the street and complex so there are no neighbors to the north, only mountain views. Though we are not right next to the pool (good for noise) we are just one building and 120 steps away from the pool access gate. Our kitchen is fully stocked with a full size range with 4 burners and convection oven, toaster oven, high power blender, hand blender, coffee maker, pots, and pans. There are place settings (plate, bowl, utensils) for 6 and at least 10 glasses so you are not always doing dishes. The colored place setting pieces are melamine and cannot be used in the microwave but they are great for an outdoor dinner on the lanai. Plastic cups are provided for the children or in case you want to take your beverage outside. Our Google Home mini-speakers are fun devices to provide information, music and entertainment. Ask "Hey Google, what is the weather today?" or command "Hey Google, play rock on Pandora". These also double as Bluetooth speakers. The living room and master bedroom have new 4k UHD SmartTVs. An assortment of family fun board games (Sequence, Rummikub, Farkle, decks of cards, etc.) are provided in the TV console in the living room. You will receive a confirmation email from us with a detailed breakdown of the nightly rental rate, fees and taxes after you book. Excess electricity and taxes may be charged separately. The community pool, BBQ, hot tub, and cabana are available for your use from 8AM to 9PM. The access fob is on the flip-flop key chain. The golf cart may be leased through a separate agreement and liability waiver. Contact us if interested. We will not be able to meet you when you check in. We try to provide all the information and interaction you need for a great trip before your arrival so that everything is in place for you. We are happy to help with any concerns and questions you have. If something is not working or missing, please let us know immediately. Keep in mind that our "home" time zone is 4 hours ahead of Hawaii so there may be some delay in responding to late night issues/concerns. The Ko'Olina resort is home to an award winning golf course, marina, dining, shopping, spas, and of course beautiful lagoons. Discover the "Aloha Spirit" of Hawaii on the leeward side of Oahu - it is usually sunny here even when it is raining elsewhere. Ko'Olina is officially in the city of Kapolei which means shopping (Costco, Walmart, Foodland, Target, and a local organic supermarket), entertainment (Water World, Regal Theater, ...) and a host of dining options are a short drive away. Hillside Villas is one of several residential areas within the resort. There are several full time residents here so please be kind and considerate. The lagoon beaches are publicly available and as a result, there may be some competition for parking. Early morning and evening are good times to find spaces. The four lagoons are within walking distance and are connected by a scenic walking path. There is always room for a golf cart at the lagoons. Do not bring food upstairs or leave it open in the drawers, counter, or cupboards. Food attracts ants and other unwanted creatures. We store open food items in the refrigerator, freezer, or air tight containers. Our golf cart is a great way to get around Ko'Olina. Contact us about setting up an agreement to use it. The cart also takes up space in the garage with no room to park a car in the garage with it. New carpet! Please no shoes, sand, or stains upstairs. Our villa has a video door bell. We try to provide everything that you need for a fun and relaxing time in Ko'Olina. If something gets damaged or goes missing during your stay or runs out, please let us know immediately so we can get the item repaired or replaced before our next guest arrives.
