Furthermore, we do all in our power to provide check in/out times to suit the travel needs of guests. However, if you are booking to arrive or leave on days that overlap with the arrival or departure date of an already confirmed booking there may be some time restrictions - please check with us to confirm your available check in or out times. Fully serviced daily. We have 2 full time employees Wayan and Taman, who are fabulous and will clean and service the villa daily. However, please discuss with them if wish for more privacy, or for them to be there only at certain times. Apart from servicing the villa they can also look after anything you may need, from arranging - tourist activities, rice paddy walks, in home massage or transfer from/to the airport or other parts of Bali. Wayan and Taman can also organise local fishermen who can take you to surrounding islands and/or snorkeling/diving spots. Please note, that all the activities and drivers/transport are separate from the villa and Taman and Wayan do not receive any commission for communicating to these companies on your behalf. And you are responsible for paying all drivers, guides and or tourist expenses. Candidasa is 60kms north east of the airport. It is a picturesque serene location that is not over developed. Copy and paste co-ordinates -8.512867, 115.575320 into Google maps for the exact location. It has good local and western restaurants and bars. Snorkeling and swimming in the ocean is available outside the villa, or a boat trip from the front of the villa, will take you to snorkeling spots at close by islands, white sandy beach or all the way to Lembongan. Sights nearby that are great to visit include: -Tenganan Aga village ( 3kms), -Tirta Gangga Water temple ( 30mins), - Pura Lempuyang -temple with views over Agung ( 45 minutes, - Trekking the rice fields ( Sideman and Mangis), - Amlapura and Klung Klung - historical sights. - Ubud is 30 kms away and day trips can be organised. - Mt Batur is 90minutes away and sunrise hikes can be organised - Mt Batur to Ubud downhill bicycle ride ( 35km easy ride) - Lembongan and Gili Islands are accessible by boat . - Bali Safari Park, Bird Park and White water rafting are all accessible day trips - Dive centres in Candidasa do full day/ 1/2 day diving trips It is ideal for families and people wishing to experience the relaxation of Bali by the sea with authentic Bali activities accessible. Please note that all activities are independent of the villa and although Wayan and Taman (our full time hosts in Bali) will help you communicate with the local people, they do not receive any commission and you are responsible for all expenses and payment to these independent agencies. Private transport can be arranged or hire a car, with or without driver, or a motorbike from nearby operators. Boat transportation for snorkeling and sightseeing is also available from the villa waterfront. FYI - Tipping in Bali is not expected, but appreciated. There is (usually) no tipping for general service or services that a price has been agreed to or a set price is in place. (bar/restaurant staff, car/boat drivers for example). However, if you have booked a trip through a company, the guide will expect a tip as do the room service staff of a hotel or villa. This tip is usually between $5 and $10 /day.
