CONDO HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: AIR CONDITIONED***SPACIOUS GOURMET KITCHEN***EQUIPPED WITH BABY AND BEACH GEAR!! ABOUT THE CONDO... This AIR CONDITIONED 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom unit is located on the second floor and has a great ocean view! Papakea is known for having several repeat guests' that come back year after year. You are just steps away from the sandy beach and ocean waves! Papakea Resort provides 13 acres of lush tropical gardens with foot bridges and koi ponds. The tennis courts, putting greens, shuffleboard, 2 pools and 2 hot tubs are all there for your enjoyment. You also have the option of barbecuing poolside. Papakea does charge a $17.00 daily resort fee for your first 10 days, per every 30 day stay. There is no additional fee for parking, unless you have more than one rental car. Watch the whales (during winter months), and the breathtaking Maui sunsets from the master bedroom, kitchen, living room and lanai. This condo was recently renovated and features granite countertops, high-end European cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and tile flooring throughout. The gourmet kitchen includes high-end appliances such as a zub-zero refrigerator, dishwasher, GE electric cooktop, range and microwave. You will find the kitchen well stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, and small appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc. The master bedroom has plantation style furnishings with a CAL-KING bed, flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom with a full size closet, for those longer stays. You awake to the view of the beautiful ocean, pool, and tropical gardens. Guest bedroom provides a queen size murphy bed and a flatscreen TV. If you need additional sleeping arrangements the living area provides a sofa sleeper with a queen size pull-out bed. Both bathrooms have beautiful cabinetry and spacious tiled walk in showers. The lanai provides a table for four guest, and 1 lounge chair. You can dine on your lanai while enjoying the whales and breathtaking sunsets, or simply relax with a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the views of the ocean. For your comfort this unit has a tri-pod air conditioner system, which is the closest thing you can get to a central air system. There are 3 air handles, one for the living area and one for each bedroom. Each comes equipped with a remote control. You will also find a stackable washer/dryer in the hallway closet. Bring on the little ones!! This unit provides the basic baby gear such as a twin blow up bed, a Pack and Play, High Chair, Bouncy Chair and of course their own dishes! The unit also provides free Wifi, basic cable, and a basic "starter" set of kitchen and bath supplies. Once the items are depleted, it is up to the guest to purchase what is needed for the remainder of the stay. Our guests' are welcomed to use anything that is in the condo, unless it is in a locked cabinet or closet. Our office is conveniently located about 2 blocks north of the resort, so we are close by if needed. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation prior to your arrival that will include the arrival instructions and our contact information should you need assistance during your stay. Papakea Resort is centrally located in West Maui between Kaanapali and Kapalua, where you can experience the world-class beaches and golf courses. We are also within minutes of a variety of restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and the farmers market. The farmer's market is a great place that provides local fruit and vegetables, as well as organic foods! We always recommend to have a rental car, but it is not necessary. You are within walking distance to a grocery store, farmer's market, fish market and many eateries. For additional transportation, there is a public bus system, taxi services or uber. Papakea Beach Resort does charge a daily resort fee of $17.00.
