We welcome you to our luxurious Milowai ocean front condominium located along the shore of Maalaea Bay. Maalaea is conveniently located between Lahaina and Kihei and an easy 20 minute drive from the Kahului airport. We have beautifully furnished and decorated this one bedroom, one-bath unit. As you enter, you are greeted with spectacular ocean views of Maalaea Bay and Haleakala. From the private Lanai, you can relax listening to the sound of the surf while you enjoy watching surfers ride the waves, turtles feeding in the bay and at night see the twinkling lights across the bay from Kihei and Wailea. Directly in front of Milowai is one of the best places to watch the whales during the winter months (December –April). The tropical landscaping, beautiful manicured grounds, an ocean front pool, and shared outdoor gas barbecue with dining area add to the wonderful ambience and relaxing atmosphere of this location. As your 'home away from home', you'll have full access to both the condo and resort's many amenities. Milowai has free onsite parking, a swimming pool surrounded by large deck along with a two-station barbecue area. Access to the condo is by keyless entry code via the front door. Your unique entry code will be provided prior to check-in. After booking and closer to your arrival date, we'll provide driving directions, check-in instructions and more. Once you're on island, we’ll be available should you need assistance or want advice on making the most of your time here. Just ask! :) The condo is ideally located on Maui adjacent to Maalaea Harbor, providing convenient access to South Maui (Kihei, Wailea, Makena) and West Maui (Lahaina, Ka'anapali, Kapalua). Both areas offer world-class restaurants and shopping, as well as golf, spas, hiking, and all the water activities you can imagine! Maalaea Harbor offers access to popular restaurants, bars, shops, and Hawaii’s best aquarium, Maui Ocean Center. More information You can also take advantage of an array of ocean activities such as whale watching, fishing, scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, sailing, and sunset dinner cruises. Your temporary island home includes views of Sugar Beach, Maui’s longest stretch of sand. Sugar Beach begins near the condo at Haycraft Park and stretches all the way to Kihei, making it perfect for long walks and beach combing. Feel like staying close to home? A few steps from the condo is a sandy beach on the harbor side of the rock jetty. The jetty offers protection and calm water, making it a terrific option for swimming and soaking in the sun! Last but not least, you'll find lots of sea turtles near the seawall adjacent to the lanai - amazing! The closest grocery store is Tradewinds Mart & Deli . Nearby coffee shops include Maalaea General Store and Aloha Deli Ma'alaea. Nearby restaurants include Carl's Jr., Seascape Maalaea Restaurant and The Green Burrito. All within 10 min walking distance! We'd recommended renting a car to explore the island. Maui now has Uber and Lyft as a transportation options as well. Your king size bed is prepared with clean 3800 thread count comfortable sheets which feels good on your skin.
