On a quiet street, just a short 5 minute drive from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and walking distance to the golf course and winery, this is the perfect location for a stay in Volcano. Completely upgraded kitchen and bath, featuring quartz counter-tops and all new stainless appliances. Great high speed WiFi and a 40" smart HDTV. Additional features include: large tiled walk-in shower, built-in lava rock and cast iron fireplace, huge private deck with hot tub, large backyard, and wonderful views of the (rarely crowded) golf course, 100% cotton luxury bedding & towels, new comfy california king bed in main and queen in guest room, full size washer/dryer and a fully stocked kitchen. We've tried to think of everything for an ideal getaway. You will even find tabletop power-hubs for your devices next to each bed, some board games & playing cards to enjoy as well as all the basics in the kitchen, including: coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, rice cooker, salt & pepper, sugar, cooking oil, etc. Perfect for families, couples, and singles, it sleeps up to 5 people. There is one king and one queen bed and two twin fold-out foam futons for the floor (best suited for kids). Your days can be as active or as relaxing as you wish. Enjoy the quiet, beauty, and privacy of the property, hit the trails in the National Park, visit some art galleries, check out the winery, play some golf, or go explore Hilo or South Point. We live 40 minutes away in Hilo and are available via text/phone. The neighborhood surrounding the Volcano Golf Course is the best place to stay in Volcano. Sunnier than the wetter areas in the village, it's also closer to the National Park. A nice mix of full time residents and some vacation rentals, it's a relaxing, quiet and pretty neighborhood with nice wide paved streets (some areas of Volcano have dirt roads). The Volcano Winery is just down the street. You will need a car to get around. You can relax in the hot tub at night, gaze at the stars and even see the orange glow in the sky from Kilauea when its erupting (if the conditions are right).
