However, as of Sept 14, Kihei, Wailea, and West Maui are now encouraging visitors. The island is less crowded than usual, prices are lower, and it's much easier to get reservations at some of the more popular restaurants. Your visit will support the Maui community and help in the recovery process. ABOUT MAUI KAMAOLE K206 Maui Kamaole K206 is a 2-level, 2 bedroom, 2 bath privately owned/operated condo located in South Kihei, Maui. It is an upper floor end unit - very quiet and very light inside. It has a large lanai with a mountain view. Air-conditioned throughout. Cable HD-TV. Internet. Maui Kamaole has 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, and 2 tennis courts. There are beaches, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping all within easy walking distance. Perfect for families or couples. Our condo is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit located on the second/third floor. This is an ideal unit for a family or two couples. The Master Bedroom and Bathroom are located in the loft with its own private lanai. The loft overlooks the living room and there are sliding doors for privacy. The second bedroom also has a private lanai. In addition to the king bed in the master bedroom and the queen bed in the second bedroom, there is a queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress. We are limited to no more than 6 people but we also offer a foam floor mattress which can be set up in either bedroom for people who prefer separate beds. About the amenities: Our condo is very completely equipped with WiFi Internet, 3 flat screen HD-TVs, audio system with "Alexa", washer/dryer, and full size kitchen appliances. The front door has an electronic lock which makes it ideal for late check in. Your code is sent to you about two weeks prior to arrival. We provide a selection of beach equipment such as chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, and even tennis rackets. There is also a cache of snorkel gear and flotation that have been left behind by previous guests. There are BBQ areas located throughout the complex. Edy, our on-island concierge, who is located in Kihei, can address any questions you may have about the condo (WiFi passwords, TV/cable questions, etc.). She can also provide information about restaurants and activities. The owners provide a Welcome Binder with all the details about the condo. There is also a great Maui guidebook entitled "Maui Revealed" which is located in the unit. About Kihei: Maui Kamaole is located in South Kihei, the warmest area in Maui. The resort is an easy walk to 4 of the best beaches with great swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. Just to the south is Wailea, home to the luxury "Shops at Wailea" and many more great beaches. Kihei is a very easy drive from the airport - about 30 minutes on a 4-lane highway. You should rent a car to get around Maui. There is a lot to see here including drives to beautiful waterfalls, the Haleakala volcano, and the infamous "Road to Hana". Although the beaches are close by you may want to use your rental car to haul all the beach gear. There is good parking at most of the beaches.
