Everything in Eastsound is within a 10 minute walk of the house. We highly recommend having a car for seeing the rest of Orcas. Taxis and shuttles can get you around the island, including from the ferry or the airport to Eastsound, however a car gives you ultimately flexibility, convenience and range. Orcas is a big island! Important info regarding cancellations! If your booking is for 28 days or more, please pay attention to the "long-term stay cancellation policy", which is supersedes the other cancellation policy. For 28+ day rentals: "Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable." For stays LESS THAN 28 days: "Guests get a full refund, if they cancel within 48 hours of booking the house, as long as the cancellation occurs at least 14 days before check-in. After that, if the cancellation occurs at least 7 days before check-in, guest will receive a 50% refund. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of check-in, there is no refund. Thank you!
