Our story is not only about homestay. We’ve been looking around such for a long time, just to find happiness and a place called “home”, but “home” is not a place, it’s the moment of now, in every step we walk, every breath we take and every second we love each other. Welcome home, in every step, in every breath. A cabin stay at our place is the perfect way to experience the remoteness and quiet of Northern Vietnam, its landscape, fresh air and ethnic minorities. Set deep in the spectacular Sapa valley, our place has a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, bamboo forest, river, waterfall and rice terraces, that creates an environmentally friendly structure. Some people asked us what to do to have fun at night? Dear friends, honestly the answer is: nothing at all! Our house is not a touristic place ... Our place is simply a land with small houses at the end of the village, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, rice terraces and a stream flowing in front of the house. Our place is for those who look for the tranquility and relaxation and want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. At our place, You will have mellow mornings with a hot coffee and bird songs resonating from the mountains. You will have leisurely strolls at noon on the village roads with local children. You will have romantic sunsets by river and mountains. You will have rustic dinners with fruits and vegetables picked from the forest or gardens of the villagers. You will have a peaceful space of mountains and forests with the moon and stars, the sound of winds and sudden rains beside campfire, And we can sing and share our stories, which haven't had opportunities to tell on busy days... it's a true world of gathering. We have 4 dogs: Hong, Tuyet, Huong and Dao. They love to run around and play with the children in the village, make us remember our childhood time without having to worry, living in a simple way & also simple happiness. The kitchen is always ready 24/7, whenever you need to cook something, just simply tell us, we will cook together. You can lie down on hammock, play with our dogs, do yoga in bamboo forest, harvest vegetables in our garden, swim in the river. It's all about nature. Our place is hosted by locals, so during your stay, don't be hesitated if you need any help from us. Or simply just chat and share with us your stories :) Our homestay is a part of the village and the H'mong community, our neighbor who is H'Mong people are very friendly and love to talk with the tourist, and they have a very tough story. Most of the ethnic people in our village and Sapa area are living in poverty, which means that they do not have jobs for earning good money. The only thing they can do, is trying to sell handicrafts for making small money to feed their families. Staying in Sapa, you may be surrounded by local ethnic people sometimes for selling handicrafts, if you do not want to buy, just kindly say No and they will never bother you again. And the children, they love to play around the village and our house. And they also really love playing with the tourist. We hope the children can bring you a joy smile during your staying. Staying here, we would like to give our guests an opportunity to experience the real local culture, not like a hotel / resort. - Muong Hoa stream (2 minutes walking, cool water all the time, especially in summer, you should bring swimming suit and experience the feeling of swimming in the stream). - Cau May waterfall (5 minutes walking, from the top of waterfall, you can see the whole valley and village which are beautiful and romantic. Next to waterfall, there is a small lake which is very safe and clean for swimming). - Places like Ancient Stone Field, Ta Van village, Y Linh Ho village, Ham Rong mountain, Cat Cat village, Love waterfall, Silver waterfall, Fansipan, O Quy Ho mountain pass, on the way back to Sapa town, you will find detail traffic signs indicate where those places are. Along the way, you will find countless beautiful scenes for pictures. At our house, plastic bottles are not used and we purify water from the mountains for use. When you stay with us, please bring and reuse your bottles of water. This small act could save nearly 1,000 plastic bottles monthly at our place. And we're also committed to plant 1,000 trees a year through Journey Of Youth's project (a Vietnamese voluntary organization) to contribute to the healing of nature.
