The Enchanting Rainforest Hideaway is a very private, well equipped, custom vacation home which stands alone on 2 private acres surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest which gives you the experience of old Hawaiian style simple elegance. The cabin is the only dwelling on the property and no one else lives or works on the 2 acres. The Enchanting Rainforest Hideaway is a beautiful custom, private, vacation home/ cabin on 2 private acres in a rainforest setting all for yourself with no one else around or living on the property, its just you! The 600 sq ft, well designed, tiny house is romantic, peaceful and clean. Perfect for honeymooners, babymooners, personal retreat, eco-travelers, yogis, adventurers, or anyone who just wants to get away from it all, but still be close enough to all that the Big Island has to offer. We are centrally located in Puna, 15 miles south of Hilo, a 5 miles outside of the quaint town of Pahoa with all its restaurants and shops. Spend your days exploring the rainforest/ jungle, black sand beach, swimming with turtles, snorkeling, hiking, restaurants, waterfalls, Volcanoes National Park, recent lava flows, Mauna Kea summit, museums, and much more. *currently there is no active magma/lava flowing anywhere on the Big Island* You can relax on the comfortable over sized bamboo furniture in the large screened-in living room and enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforests' birds, frogs and other wildlife as you look out onto the lush jungle landscape. The bedroom has a comfortable, queen sized, Sealy posture pedic mattress. High thread count linens and bathrobes are provided for your comfort. Hand crafted, custom double doors lead out onto the lanai. There is a high quality full/queen size futon in the living room for extra guests. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, custom cabinets and tiles, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, blender, plates, glasses, bowls, cutlery, coffee and coffee grinder, tea, condiments and spices. Sliding glass doors lead out onto the lanai. There's a land line phone, wireless internet, designated work space, fast internet, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, bar-B-que, boogie board, snorkel gear, tent, guidebooks and other thoughtfully provided special touches to make your stay very comfortable and relaxing. The house is very well equipped. The art nouveau inspired bathroom features an antique clawfoot bathtub and a pedestal sink. Fluffy towels, soaking salts and bubbles are provided. Drive onto the property and experience the enchanting elegance of the lush Hawaiian garden filled with exotic tropical plants, flowers, palms and bamboo. STVR Registration Number : STVR-19-364512 NUC Number: NUC -19-1661 Starting at our low season rates of $120 per night, $800 per week, $2,900 per month, depending on season, double occupancy, (4.16% GET & 9.25% TAT included) plus a $ 90 cleaning fee. Additional person $15 per night up to 4 people (children/ babies traveling with guests are considered additional occupants). Full/Queen size futon in the living room. Smoking/vaping/e-cigs, etc. permitted outside only. After that we leave you on your own and most likely that will be the only time you see us. We are available for you 24 hours a day if you need us, but we don't bother you and leave you on your own to enjoy your vacation. It is highly recommended that you rent a car. 420 friendly; BUT any and all smoking/vaping/pipes outside ONLY Ring video doorbell in outside carport.
