Our condo sleeps 4 people with a large bedroom containing a king size bed and a convertible sofa bed in the living room (which is more suited for children/teens). Everything you need for a memorable vacation is included in our unit. Villa 101 has been upgraded with a new kitchen, bathroom, flooring and paint. The lanai off the living room is a beautiful setting amongst the peaceful stream and lush tropical vegetation. The grounds at Waikomo are impeccable. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai listening to the stream amidst the tropical oasis setting or your glass of wine at the end of a busy day doing the endless island activities. You will appreciate the open concept living space of our unit, with a lanai off the front and as well in the rear. We have two ceiling fans in the living room and in the bedroom, for your comfort. Waikomo has such a beautiful breeze that air conditioning is not needed. Listen to the birds, the waterfall and the frogs at night. The birds, frogs and roosters are all part of Kauai's Island charm and some people do take a couple days to get used to waking up to their sounds. This occurs all over the Island. We provide an extra fan in the bedroom for really light sleepers. If this type of noise affects your sleep, we recommend earplugs for comfort. Walk across the street to the Kukui'ula Village that has many shops, a grocery store and restaurants. Also shortly down the street you will find the Kiahuna Golf Club. A 30 second walk from the front door and you may enjoy the sparkling blue pool with an additional kiddie pool and change rooms. Or a short 8 minute stroll will bring you to the beach where there are endless activities to choose from: surf lessons, snorkeling, tanning, swimming, boating and whale watching. Poipu is on the Southern part of the Island. Very sunny and dry and wonderful restaurants, shops and resorts adorn the area. It's also very walkable with many amenities within reach. A car is mainly required. Kauai has Uber or Pono Taxi. We do not have air conditioning. We have two ceiling fans and amazing trade wind breezes if you open the lanai doors.
