The story of Little Anh House: My Grandpa was awarded with this house from the State for his contribution to the National resistance to the French colonization. My Dad lived here went he was 5. My sister and I both were born and grew up here till we have our own families. This house has witnessed all the important moments of our lives: from the poor to the prosperous life, from the joy when a new member was born, to the sorrow when our love one passed away. This place filled with the memories of our family over the pass 3 generations and would continue to be important part of our lives. When our children were born, even though they did not live here anymore, but we would want them to know their roots, to appreciate what they have today. We named the house after our children names. The house design and facilities: As it is originally a French villa (which has a very unique design that make it warm in winter and cool in summer), we tried to keep the style remains. You will see yourself travelling back to 100 years ago in a old French Colonial Style house, spacious, quite and comfortable with full kitchen facilities, attached bathroom and toilet with toiletries, just to meet all your need for a few days escape in Hanoi. The safety: Our house is just next to Cuba Embassy and the Police Museum, it is very very safe as there are always Polices guarding outside. It is easy accessible from Our place to other places: - Just next to Quan Su Pagoda - 1-2 minutes walking from Hoa Lo Prison Museum and "Pho Sach"" (Hanoi Book Street) - 3 minutes walking to airport bus stop - 7 mins walking away from Railway Station - 10 mins walking to Hoan Kiem lake. My Dad - a 67 year old man who loves his house a lot, very friendly old man, speaks Russian, Bulgarian and very eager to learn English and technology will be there during the day time to help you with anything you need.
