A charming 2-bedroom villa set within a lush walled garden, just 2 minutes stroll from the beach - ideal for a family or friends travelling together on a self-catering holiday. Well equipped with comfortable, vibrant interiors and a relaxed atmosphere. The ground floor of the house consists of an open-plan kitchen and living room with double doors that open out onto a spacious terrace and garden, perfect for indoor/outdoor living. The living room is furnished with a comfy sofa and has a library, flat screen TV, DVD player, SONOS music system and board games. The spacious kitchen has a bar counter and is equipped with a fridge, cooker, oven and other cooking supplies you possibly need. The eight-seater dining table is placed on the terrace. The garden is shaded with tropical foliage, has a hammock and corner garden seats, great for reading or sunbathing. The two bedrooms are upstairs, connected through a balcony overlooking the garden. Both rooms have one king-size four-poster bed, fitted with luxurious bed-linen, feather pillows, mosquito netting and air-conditioning. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with a hot and cold shower. You will have access to the entire villa, including: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony, living area, kitchen, outside terrace and garden. There is free WiFi access throughout the entire villa. Before you arrive, I will arrange you some groceries to get started with and will be handed over (with bill) by our wonderful housekeeper, Jayanthi, who lives next door. She comes in daily to clean the house and do your laundry. She is happy to cook Sri Lankan rice and curry dishes on request or prepare you a simple breakfast. If you wish, we can arrange our tuk-tuk to take you to the local markets to purchase fresh seafood, fruit and vegetables. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages. If cooking is not your thing, you can have a delivery sent over from the Wijaya Beach Bar, which has a wood-fired pizza oven and pan-global menu. I will be available by phone to answer any of your questions or to come and visit whenever needed. When you arrive, you will receive a welcome box, including all the information you need about the villa and all the activities that are available around the area. Villa spicy is located in a beloved neighborhood in Unawatuna. The beach is only a few minutes walk away, with several restaurants, beach bars, diving centres, turtle hatcheries and surf spots. If you are interested to start your day with a yoga session, then you can follow a class at Sri Yoga Shala, which is only 10 minutes walking distance. If you like to spend your day sightseeing, then you can visit the famous Dutch Fort in Galle, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Dutch Fort is only 15 minutes away by Tuktuk. Another UNESCO World Heritage site is the Sinharaja rainforest, which you can visit as a day trip. You can also visit the village Mirissa for Whale watching. We are happy to arrange your transport (air-conditioned van) from the airport. Please request at time of your booking. We can arrange you tuktuks during your stay to get around or you can rent a scooter. The busstop is across the road. Minimum 2 night stay.
