For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store. Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Lahaina Town is 15-20 minutes away and features an opportunity to experience the historical journey of Hawaii. Hawaii TAX TA-061-265-7152-01 The Sands of Kahana has a 24-hour front desk, please check in with them and they will issue you a key for the condo! All property facilities (pools, bbq’s, gym’s, tennis courts, beach volley ball) are available for your use. Beach towels are provided in the condo! The Sullivan Properties office is located in Kahana in the business building across from the gas station and McDonald’s. We are open 7 days a week and have an emergency line for after hours if needed! The Sands of Kahana does have a great beach out front for swimming and other water activities. There is also a great restaurant on site as well as a few within walking distance such as Miso Phat Sushi and Maui Brewing Company. We recommend renting a vehicle while on Maui as there are so many amazing things to see on this island and having a car makes it easy! Parking is included in your fees; the front desk will issue you a parking pass. This property does not have assigned parking but there should be plenty of stalls available. If you do not wish to rent a car, public transportation is nearby.
