We're minutes from the Ceiba ferry/airport on 3 lush tropical acres. Get away from the "tourist" side of things and into country, simple, quiet living and the sounds of nature! Yet, you're only about 10-15 minutes from most east coast areas of interest, 5 minutes to the ferry and airport! Oceanview Terrace (Upstairs): he whole house! Our home can be separated by floor and rented separately or combined to reserve the whole house. We love to sit in the pavilion and have coffee or beer / wine or have a nap in the hammock - and hope you will too! Our common areas (outside your units and terrace/patio) are shared spaces where you should expect to mingle with hosts, other guests, and the occasional caretaker. No parties or events are allowed (only registered guests are permitted). When reserving please be sure you list the accurate number of guests, as you will be required to register each of them with AirBnb (we want to have the right amount of supplies out for your group) as well as schedule your check in with your host shortly after reserving. With this reservation you have access to the upper floor and 3 acres of land, which includes a private oceanview terrace just for you. Outside is an outdoor patio and kitchen which is shared and where hosts, guests and caretakers can socialize, cook a meal, share a drink and enjoy sunrises, sunsets amongst palm trees or just relax on a hammock, sofa or chair! This floor includes an open stairwell down to a laundry area. Service providers or downstairs units may open a door at the bottom of the stairs to use the laundry occasionally but will not come up the stairs. The property is fenced and gated. Our caretaker comes by to cut the grass and check on the property. We will schedule your check in and give you a walkthrough of your space, and be available as much as possible during your stay in person or via telephone. Sometimes we are present on site and others we may be travelling. When we are in Puerto Rico we love to socialize with guests, share our favorite places and tips, and hang out in the pavilion with you when possible - but understand if you have your own plans and prefer to stay in your private areas. We would LOVE you to check in and review, comment, post on social media @finquitavistaalegrepr Our home is about 1.25 miles into the hills from Salida 5 of PR 53 Ceiba, and we can really only see about one neighbor. Its remote, yet convenient, and tranquil despite lots of coqui's chirping. While we are remote, we're also about 15 minutes from Fajardo, Naguabo, Luquillo,and El Yunque - minutes to the Ferries and Airport in Ceiba to Vieques and Culebra, and about 45 minutes from San Juan, depending on traffic/time of day - we're about 5 minutes from the ferry port and airport in Ceiba. You will need a car. There aren't much in the way of Uber / Taxi, although they do exist. You can schedule taxi's through Luquillo taxi or Ceiba Ferry and Airport Taxy, but only in advance. You may find some Uber coverage but it will be light. We recommend check-ins during daylight hours. it is very dark at night, not as easy to find the place the first time in the dark. Typical winter daylight hours are 6am-6pm and Summer daylight can be 5am to 7pm. A curvy / narrow country road brings you from the highway to the house in about 1.25 miles and a GPS will be necessary to arrive.
