Motohakone town is in the walking distance where you'll find several restaurants and souvenir shops. Supermarket in the walking distance. Take a bus from Odawara station for 30 min to Motohakone bus stop. My accomodation is within 10min walk from there . Since my accomodation is on the small hill, I recommend you to take a taxi for your arrival and return(3min by taxi, will cost you around 800JPY). Rent a car is also my strong recommendation. Very convenient to reach most of the major attractions in Hakone area. - How to get to the house from Hakonemachi bus stop - To get to the house, take a right out of the bus terminal area. Go to the 2nd stop light and take a left (approximately 150-200 meters). Go for approximately 40 meters, where the road splits into a Y. Take the right hand fork, which goes up. Go approximately 150 meters, including past the Coffee house on your right, to the spot where the road takes a sharp right turn (there is a small house on your left hand side). You will continue up the road for approximately 200 meters and straight into the driveway of the house Please park your car at the parking lot in the house yard. Please refrain from occupying the parking lots next to my house entrance which are the place for neighbors to make U-turn.
