All welcome 🏳️‍🌈 We fell in love with this Ocean Suite Apartment and its surroundings, so much so that we purchased it in February 2018. We love open plan living, where authentic and modern design are in harmony and that inspired us to create this unique property with similarities to our warehouse apartment on the River Thames in London and we have now finally completed our $50,000 renovation in March 2023. We work in Film & Fashion and have taken our design inspiration from the stunning Mediterranean islands that we have visited many times and combined this with the magic of Balinese architecture, craft and design. Sitting by the ocean with its tropical surroundings we have created a unique property which is a perfect hideaway from life’s stresses and a space to relax and rediscover the best version of you. It is ideal for couples or small families and very private because it is situated on the 2nd floor - which isn’t overlooked by any other property. Our Villa gives you uninterrupted ocean views from all rooms, even when enjoying any one of the 4 showers that our home has to offer you. The peace and privacy enables you to appreciate the magnificent ocean views whilst sipping your favourite drink on the balcony! The Master suite is fitted with a king sized bed and en-suite shower room where you can shower and enjoy the sea views at the same time. There is also air-conditioning throughout, 4 overhead fans, and plug sockets - including USB ports, thoughtfully placed behind the bedside tables - as is the case in the second bedroom. We have invested in a 100 Mbps FIBRE OPTIC Wi-Fi and provide global channels including free Netflix and HBO Go subscriptions. Our smart TV also has apps for Apple TV and Amazon - but you will need to use your own login details. (Also channels - including sports - can also be added at the additional cost price upon request) The second bedroom or snug room has been fitted with two king-size single beds. Therefore, it is a multifunctional room and can be set up with a super-king bed or 2 single beds - that can be used for families with children. Or just simply used as a daybed, snug room for honeymooners or couples. The main bathroom is fitted with double showers, stone carved vanity units and exquisitely designed brass, bamboo style taps. The views of Mount Agung and the ocean are spectacular and this is a truly magical place to stay as the over 100 five-star reviews will say. This newly renovated gem is an ode to open-plan living, seamlessly blending authentic and modern design. Ideal for couples or small families, the suite features a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, en-suite shower with sea views, air conditioning, and thoughtful amenities. The ocean views, the sunsets and sound of the waves are wonderful. There is a sandy beach in front of the resort, which is beautifully rugged and dramatic but not so good for swimming. We recommend walking about 20m down the beach to the right where there are some nice sandy areas and is better for a dip in the sea. That is not to say there are not some excellent beaches scattered along the coast, because there are! Our favourite is "White Sand Beach" which is 15 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by boat from the villa and it is breathtaking. We like to have a boat pick us in front of the villa and drop us there for a few hours for some swimming and snorkelling & then return us back home. We are happy to provide recommendations for these trips and prices that are competitive. Guests will have free access to the Infinity pool or the larger pool by the resort restaurant and we also provide free beach towels. There is a Spa on the resort grounds that offers massages and other services at reasonable fees. The resort has a laundry service and there are other laundry services a short walk from the villa. Our Ocean Suite has recently been fitted with brand new cable tv IndiHome which has international channels include free subscriptions HBO Go and Netflix subscription. We have also fitted our own private 100 MBPS WiFi with super fast fibre broadband. It work’s brilliantly throughout and even downstairs by the infinity pool just in case you want to video home. Bayshore Villas also has has complementary WiFi throughout the resort. You can relax on Ocean Suite terrace, which has 4 lounge chairs, a sun lounger and even an outdoor shower to cool down from the hot Bali sun, leaving you with the feeling of enjoying your own secluded beachfront home.... or you can go downstairs and socialise with other guests around the pools or in the restaurant. Our property also makes for a perfect romantic honeymoon suite and our Villa manager Pariatna, can even come a cook in the villa for you should you wish to treat yourself to your own private dining. As hosts we will try to be as available as possible while you're staying in our villa but please bare in mind that we live in the UK - which is several hours behind Bali's time zone - so if there's any urgency to your requirements and we are not contactable then our wonderful Villa Manager Pariatna, and his team will aim to meet all your needs. Our home is located in the Karangasem Regency of Bali and is set back from the main road in Candidasa, therefore has no traffic noise. Being oceanfront the roar of the waves is pretty much all you will hear. Snorkeling off the beach is pretty good and you may spot the occasional sea turtle swimming nearby in thecoral reef. We have also seen dolphins from our balcony on many occasions. Candidasa is a rural town directly on the ocean with farmland including rice fields and other crops around, so you will find a selection of farm animals like occasional chickens, pigs or cows near the local area. The town has many nice restaurants nowadays and a selection of shops with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Some of these restaurants offer traditional Balinese dancing or live Jazz/Rock music with even the occasional karaoke night. Candidasa and East Bali also offer great tourist attractions which are becoming more and more popular in recent days such as the Lotus Lagoon, White Sand beach (Virgin Beach), Lempuhyan Temple (Heavens Gate as seen on social media) and the Emperor's water palaces Tirta Ganga and Taman Ujung which are all within 30 minutes max from our Ocean Suite. The centre of Candidasa is about a 10-15 min walk from the villa. Bayshore Villas does have a front desk where they can arrange transport to town or for all day tours at really good rates. Should you be more adventurous you can rent a motorcycle from the hotel for 70,000Rp or also cheaply in town and they will deliver it to you. Our unit is within Bayshore Villas Boutique Hotel. Airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged ahead of time at a competitive rate (500 IDR each way) through us. We would recommend this as sometimes Drivers are not familiar with where our Villa is situated. Our Villa manager, Pariatna, will be on hand to assist you with your check in and any needs - including local information, trips and Villa maintenance. If there is anything else we can do to make your stay more enjoyable please message us. Bali living is pretty much open living style with windows or doors open most the time. Our villa has an open-air bathroom and you will probably want to keep the glass doors open a lot - thus you will get occasional geckos (small insect eating lizards that hang out near the lights to eat bugs) in the villa, but don't worry they are afraid of humans and won't bite you. Actually in Asia they are considered good luck to have them around. Also occasional bugs and ants will make an appearance and if they bother you please ask the staff for some bug spray. The three AC units are new and strong, we kindly request that you do not leave them on all day while out or with the doors open. We are thoughtful about the environment and the impact of unnecessary use of electricity and the cost to our environment. At the end of your visit all you need to do is leave the keys in the Villa or lockbox. **** This is the perfect villa to get away from the rat race for a while, write a book or have a long honeymoon.
