We are in Kahana, seven miles north of Lahaina and the tragic wildfires. Our property was not affected by the fires, other than our sadness and support for those who lost families and homes. If you're renting a car, suggest Discount Hawaii Car Rentals. We charge $175 for cleaning. Check-in is 4 p.m., check-out is 11 a.m. Kahana Reef does not allow full-on AC. We take advantage of our Hawaiian ocean breezes, supplemented with ceiling and floor fans, but do have a portable AC unit in living room. Sofa queen sleeper in living room.
