Located onthe quiet side of the island, over looking the endless Indian Ocean, surrounded by tropical foliage, Thundi guest house is ideal for guests looking to get away from it all. For the more adventurous guests we have one of the best channel dives in Maldives as well as fun trips involving, but not limited to mantas, sharks, dolphins and sand banks. The room, just few steps away from the sea has unmatched views of the endless Indian Ocean and is equipped with a half open bathroom with a mini garden. Guest house is located in a local island. People are friendly and love to talk to foreigners. Maldivian people live nearby in their simple life with friendly faces and are very welcoming. We have the following options for transfer to our hotel: Option 1 Public ferry is available on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 1000 hrs from Male, return on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday at 1030 hrs, travel time is 3.5 hrs, Cost is USD4 per person, This ferry will have a brief stop at Maafushi. Option 2 A shared speed boat is available at following times: 1015 hrs and 1515 hrs from airport (1100 hrs and 1600 hrs from Male) everyday except Friday, Return from Fulidhoo at 0730 hrs and 1410 hrs daily except Friday. Price is USD40 per person per way and travel time is 1 hour. Option 3 Transfer can be arranged in a speed boat and cost is 190 dollars per couple. Travel time is around 1 hour, this scheduled service is available five times daily, everyday of the week, Transfer is arranged on a shared speed boat from airport to Maafushi and a private speed boat from Maafushi to Fulidhoo, Option 4 Private transfer Airport to Fulidhoo. USD 300 per trip. Time: 1 hrs 10 mins. Kindly note -alcohol is prohibited on local islands. Alcohol will be confiscated at the airport and will not be available on the island. -swim wear is allowed only in designated guest beach. Decent culturally appropriate clothing is expected everywhere else. At least t shirt and shorts. -we don't have an ATM on the island and you cannot withdraw USD from airport ATM. Please bring cash USD with you or pay by credit card. Credit card payments are subject to additional bank charge of 4%. We only accept USD, no local currency. The bank has strict policy against torn or very old cash, and so we do not accept them either.
