Not suitable for guests who prefer to be within walking distance of shops and restaurants.Pet free/smoke free. A 20-30 minute drive to town. Pastoral Views: Private guest entrance. Sliding glass doors open to views of the mesa, mountains in the distance, and open sky. Lovely sunsets and stars at night. Simple pleasures of bird song and crickets in a rural ranch environment. Media: Wifi is slow. Not suitable for business purposes. DVD Entertainment only: No commercial or cable tv. The Aspen Suite provides the basics for rest and relaxation for guests who prefer to be in a rural setting just outside of Durango. It is a separate guest area. Hosts are on site and available in the front of the ranch house. OUT OF TOWN, SUITABLE FOR GUESTS WHO PREFER RURAL LOCATIONS: Easy access to Hwy 550 and Hwy 160. 12 miles east of Durango city limits. Approx. 20 minute drive to Durango for restaurants, shopping, and local attractions. Walmart and other strip mall businesses -about 12 min drive. The Ranch and agriculture environment in this area makes it enjoyable for you to take a jog or stroll with pastures and farm animals on all sides. Our neighborhood is composed of those who live here, not a through street. It is quiet, secure, and peaceful. This listing has no public services within walking distance and requires the use of a car. You will need a car for exploring the area. If you fly into Durango La Plata Airport , rentals are available at the airport. Advance rental reservations are advised! Booking online is highly recommended. Taxi service is extremely expensive. Smoke free environment , indoors and out. We cannot accept reservations for guests traveling with pets . Suitable for two adult guests only.
