Our home is 3,400 sq. feet and sits on over an acre, with idyllic views of mature trees, horse pastures and Bidwell Park. We have two small children, so the place is setup for mellow family groups to relax and enjoy family time. We do not accept bookings of large youthful groups. ABOUT THE ESTATE: We have a large (fenced) salt water pool with a slide, and a new 6-person jacuzzi. A large sized barbecue and a huge shaded back porch, perfect for sunny Chico summers. Our lower pasture has a springfree trampoline, several unique swings and horseshoe pits. The house is 2-story, with 5 available private bedrooms, plus additional rooms and sleeping options – 3 couches/ 2 floor mats/ 2 cribs [available upon request]. There is a master wing downstairs with a king bed and en-suite bathroom. Three bedrooms are upstairs – each with a queen bed, and there is a kid's room downstairs, with a twin sized bunk bed. We have two living room areas. One features a 54" Samsung Smart TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime and HULU. The other living room features a cute nook for extra dining seating or a desk for art or work. The kitchen has counter-height dining, and ample room for several cooks to co-create cuisine. There's 2 refrigerators: one in the kitchen and one in the attached panty-room. An adjacent formal dining room features a great heirloom table that seats up to 14 people. There is a large drive way and covered carport that could house 4 cars under the shaded area. Plenty of cars could fit around the circular driveway. We ask that quiet hours are observed [11pm - 8am] to be respectful of our neighbors, as they are always to us. There are also 3 adult bicycles available for use. You have access to the entire house (we have a couple locked owner rooms). The outside spaces, which includes a large front yard orchard & garden, a pool & 6-person jacuzzi, and covered patio in the backyard, and an enormous lower pasture with picnic area, swings, horseshoe pits, and a very safe trampoline. We will be out of the area but available by phone or messaging for any needs. We are located near bidwell park and have a cute breakfast/lunch cafe, pizza place, and liquor store very close. Car or bike would be ideal. Walking for pleasure would be enjoyable but we are located 5 miles from the downtown center.
