Our 1 story unit is a short drive to the beach (.5 mile), shopping, restaurants, & the city center. This 3 bed, 3 bath condo has it all! There are 2 master suites w/ King beds, a 3rd bedroom w/a set of bunk beds, & a loft bed, & another set of bunk beds tucked into a hallway nook. The kitchen is stocked w/dishes, appliances & all a cook could need. Washer/dryer right in the unit! 2 tropical pools, & a playscape for the kids! Large covered & screened patio. 2 parking spots right outside the unit. The property features a large, covered, screened-in patio with seating so you can enjoy the cool breezes without mosquitos! There is an outdoor shower, and fishing rod holders for use on the patio as well. The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker, crockpot, lots of pots and pans, casserole dishes, Tupperware, strainers, bowls, etc.... Games, DVDs & beach towels are provided for your convenience. There are 2 assigned parking spaces right outside the unit. Please note that NO pets of any kind are allowed. *The pools are NOT heated & there is no "hot tub". There are NO bathtubs in the unit, only showers. We are NOT on the beach side of the highway. Golf carts are NOT allowed to cross Highway 361 in front of our unit. There are very specific legal crossings where golf carts are allowed and if you cross in front of our unit, you do risk getting a ticket. STR Permit #514289. I mention all of these things because they are questions we have received from potential guests in the past. If you have any questions, please be sure to message us ahead of booking so we can help you have the best experience possible! You will have 2, tropical, resort style pools to choose from. There is also a playscape located next to one of the pools so you can relax with a cocktail while the kids play! The pools are NOT heated. Hosts will always be available by email or text during reasonable daytime hours. We will not be available to respond immediately during the hours of 10pm-8am. If you have not heard from us, please contact us the day before, or the day of your arrival for the access code to the lockbox. I typically message access codes on the morning of your arrival date. Located within walking distance from a gas station, convenience store, and Kody's Restaurant and bar. Pirate's Bay is very close to downtown Port Aransas, and there are many great attractions close by. These include Schlitterbahn, the Pirate Ship, the Aquarium, the aircraft carrier USS Lexington, and much more. This property is great for couples, or families (with kids). Golf cart rentals are available within walking distance, right across the street from Silver Sands . It's a short trip (about 4 blocks) to ride to the beach! We are not really within walking distance, especially if you want to bring your coolers and toys with you. ***Please note....golf cart crossing is NOT allowed directly in front of our condo***. You will need to go a couple of doors down to Kody's Restaurant and cross directly in front of there from Pleasant Valley Road across to Asby Rd. I can send you a map if you need clarification on where you can legally cross highway 361. *We are NOT on the beach side of the highway, but the beach and down town are just a very quick drive! All TV's have a DVD player and a few movies are provided for your convenience. Our TV uses the Roku system with lots of free channels to choose from. The other streaming channels are Netflix (bring your account log in info), Sling TV, Prime Video & more. *THERE IS NO BOAT OR TRAILER PARKING ALLOWED when renting our unit* Please scroll through the photos in our listing for details on where you can park your boat or trailer for $25/day. *Golf carts are not allowed to cross 361 in front of our condo. There is a legal place to cross the road in front of Kody's restaurant which is just a block from our condo. If you wish to rent a golf cart, you will either need to drive your car to the golf cart rental place & load your golf cart from there or request a copy of the legal golf cart crossing map before your stay. You can not cross the road back and forth directly in front of our condo to access the beach at this time. If you do, you risk getting a fine.* ***A small number of basic supplies are provided (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags), etc... but you will need to purchase additional supplies if you have a larger group, or are staying for more than a couple of days. Please plan accordingly.*** **As of July 10th, 2023 our ice maker is currently broken and you will need to supply your own ice. We apologize for this inconvenience** *There is no hot tub at the pool. It looks like a hot tub in the photos, but the pool and the hot tub area are NOT heated* *There are no bathtubs inside our unit. Only showers.*
