You'll find The Brickworx set back on a treelined street in sought-after Hampstead, just moments from Hampstead Village and Hampstead Heath, "the Lungs of London". Reminiscent of an artist's studio, this distinctive light-filled house has been redesigned around the original Crittall glass frontage, and curated to offer all the amenities of a modern fully serviced home. A set of stairs to the side leads up to The Brickworx's front door. Inside, you'll find two large double bedrooms, an open plan dining and sitting room, a sizeable bathroom and a fully kitted out kitchen. Stepping out of the sitting room or second bedroom leads to the sun-trap balcony which runs the full length of the house and, being south-facing, enjoys sun from early afternoon through to sunset. Hampstead itself is steeped in history, an urban village forged by past mononymously famous residents such as Keats, Freud, Elgar and Constable. Strangely familiar faces sat next to you in a coffee shop, browsing the market, or simply passing by, are constant reminders that Hampstead remains a magnet to modern day titans of art, sport, academia and creativity. Wandering through its film-set cobbled streets and narrow winding roads leading to wild open spaces, it's easy to forget you're actually in London and well placed to easily reach all its attractions. Dipping in to the delights of Central London is quick and easy from The Brickworx, thanks to off street parking and its proximity to tubes, trains and bus stops. It is just 3 tube stops to Baker Street, a 19 minute cycle ride to Oxford Street (downhill to be fair), or a 15 minute drive to Portobello Road. We were very excited when we got our first booking on opening in 2019. As our first guests arrived and departed, we enjoyed taking hosting to heart and our growing reputation for immaculate cleanliness made us proud. Then Covid-19 happened which set a new bar, so whilst The Brickworx took a turn housing a doctor, we worked on ensuring we exceed that too.
