Walk down the trail to the lake and fish off the dock or explore the lake by canoe, two kayaks, or paddle boat, which are available for guests use. 1.5 miles to Trout Lake with a boat launch to enjoy access to the beautiful Whitefish Chain (14 lakes). Cabin close to ATV trails, many places to eat, golf, beaches and many other fun activities that the town of Crosslake has to offer. EXPLICITLY NO DRUG USE. This does not include children 2 and under. You may not invite any additional individuals to cabin once # of guests is declared during booking process. Only exception - host is messaged before 9 p.m. day of change and guest receives permission from host for change. No exceptions. Quiet time 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Private and cozy cabin with gas fireplace. Large Patio with patio furniture and nice area for outdoor fires. Cabin has 2 larger bedrooms, each with comfortable queen size beds and nice linens. Additional sleeping in Loft area/living room with a couch that folds out into a full size air bed. TV in loft area with Prime Video, Dstream (DIRECTV) and Roku Channel. Fiber optics high speed internet service. Stocked Kitchenette with cooking essentials. Kitchenette also has microwave, convection oven, small refrigerator, coffee pot, crock pot, and electric fry pan. Gas grill with side burner on patio. No stove in kitchenette. Cabin has attached garage space that can be made available to guests with a full size refrigerator/freezer and washer/dryer. Cabin personally cleaned by host. I love a sparkly clean place to stay when I travel and that is my gift to each guest that stays at our little cabin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cabin stands alone, entire cabin is for guests with keyed access. Cabin is situated on 2 acres of land and property is shared with host’s private home a distance away. Hosts are available if needed. Cabin is set on a hill overlooking private lake on 2 acres of land with 200 ft of shoreline. There are a few neighbors, but the general feel is an Up North private, peaceful getaway. There is a wide hillside trail that goes down to the lake and dock. There is an area for fires by the cabin. We have kiln dried firewood available for $5 a bundle. Very peaceful lake, with no public access. You may enjoy taking out our 2 kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. We do have some life jackets, but probably best to supply your own. Fishing can be excellent at times for crappies, sun 🐠 fish, bass and northerns. Many deer/fawns, fox, coyotes, birds, eagles, loons in this area with and an occasional black bear that mainly is spotted in the springtime. Shoreline is not sandy, but you may swim. There are 2 different beaches at Corp of Engineers campground in Crosslake (free) and both 10 minutes away. Also just 3 minutes away is an unofficial beach area on Trout Lake with a great sand bottom and beautiful views. Close by you can jump on many ATV trails. Nordic Ridge Cross Country Ski Trail in the winter and Hiking Trail in the summer. For bike enthusiasts, the Cuyuna Mountain Bike Trail System or the Paul Bunyan Trail (120 miles long). Boating--There are three boat rental options in Crosslake: Your Boat Club, Outlet Recreation and C&C Boatworks and Jet ski rental from Seabergs. Also there is Crow Wing Kayaks for drop off service for kayak day rentals or floating tube trips. Crosslake offers Mini Golf and Crosswoods Golf Course. Other course close by: Whitefish Golf, Breezy Point Golf and Golden Eagle Golf. ATV, bikes, snowmobiles or car. Check in time is set at 3:00. Check out time is 10:00. There may be an option for an earlier check-in or a later check-out depending on the turnover needs of the cabin. We welcome families with small children, but do want parents to know there are stairs to loft area. There is no permanent gate on stairs.
