Because of concerns with the Covid Virus, we follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob. We live only four blocks away! Please note that our house manager has access to their back studio through the back gate. We have a deep affection for our neighborhood, which is currently undergoing a transformation with new developments while preserving some cherished old favorites. Within walking distance, you'll find Equilibrium Coffee, a unique spot sharing space with 1078 Gallery and a local plant nursery, creating an artistic and inviting atmosphere to savor your espresso. Right across the street, a tantalizing world of flavors awaits. A note about our neighborhood: You may notice people moving from downtown to various shelters for those experiencing homelessness. Rest assured, these individuals are generally harmless, but we understand it can be a concern from a distance. Your safety and comfort are important to us. Getting to downtown is a breeze from our house, whether you prefer to walk or drive. Plus, we offer bikes for your use, so you can explore not only the historic Barber neighborhood but also the stunning beauty of Bidwell Park. The choice is yours, and we're here to make your stay as convenient and enjoyable as possible. *The upstairs has very steep steps. If it is hard for you to climb or descend stairs, this would not be the space for you to stay in. * The open design of the loft does not make for a door; instead a curtain provides privacy at the top of the stairs. *Cameras are set-up for the benefit of everyone's security while staying with us. *There is plenty of parking on our street given that there are businesses in front and to the side; but please do not park in front of our only neighbors house.
