Welcome to our charming, blue Farmhouse cabin! We personally renovated and decorated this cabin during the course of 8 weeks and are excited to host you in this little gem! Peaceful, starry nights in a serene mountain setting await you! *** The Cabin *** Our cabin is located on a large half acre site and if you enjoy the tranquil mountain setting with green pines and aspen trees in the spring & summer, colorful fall foliage in autumn and/or winter wonderland in the winter then this is the right cabin for you! Fully equipped & remodeled kitchen includes fridge, microwave, oven, water boiler, toaster, coffee machine, sandwich press and blender. We also have an array of basic spices and coffee filters that are provided. The living room is set up with a comfortable couch and loveseat, complemented by hand chosen rustic and cozy decor. The pellet stove provides a warm and cozy atmosphere during chill nights. Upstairs you will find a bedroom with a comfortable king bed (Dreamcloud mattress) and a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed (Sealy). The king bedroom has an electric fireplace and the queen bedroom has adorable fairy lights. Both bedrooms have wood blinds & curtains for a restful sleep. Please note there is no door for the queen bedroom. Outside you will find a beautiful, large patio where you can enjoy some meals, relax or stargaze at night! There is a charcoal grill onsite for your BBQ pleasure. (Please bring your own charcoal). Please note that the outside furniture and grill is usually available May/June through October (depending on snowfall). Times may vary seasonally. Large driveway with access for trucks with trailers/ ATV's and/ or side by sides. *** Winter Advisory*** November 1st - April 30th: 4-wheel drive is required! Snow chains are highly recommended! Outside seating areas and grill will be available before the 1st snowfall of the season (usually October) and after the snow has fully melted off the patio (usually sometime around May). Please note this is a remote, standalone cabin in the woods, in the mountains at 8500 ft elevation with limited infrastructure. While we strive to provide our guests with a wonderful 5* Airbnb experience, we are not a 5* resort with 24/7 assistance and service. The roads in the village are not paved and the last ~7 min of your drive is on a gravel road. In the wintertime snowstorms can occur. Before traveling please ensure you check the weather forecast and AVOID TRAVELING DURING WINTER STORMS at all cost. You can download the Udot app which transmits live road conditions. The county (government) is responsible for plowing the roads if there is more than 8” of fresh snow and they plow during the daytime only. We have private plows for our driveway, we ask our guests to understand that the driveway plow arrival times are flexible. Occasional power outages may occur on the mountain (especially during snow fall) and usually get taken care of by the electricity company within a few hours. Snow removal on the deck, to and around your car can be booked with advance notice for an additional fee. Outside Furniture will be available once last snow melts. Guests have access to entire cabin. I will be available by phone, email or text messages. Right in the middle of numerous beautiful offroad trails that await discovery! By car: 55 min to Bryce Canyon and 1 hr to Zion National Park East Entrance. Gorgeous Aspen Mirror Lake is a 25 min walk or 5 min drive away. Other attractions: Cascade Falls, Strawberry Point, Cedar Breaks, Mammoth Cave. *** Winter Advisory*** November 1st - April 30th: 4-wheel drive is required! Snow chains are highly recommended!
