A recently remodeled mid-century guest suite in the heart of Helena. The suite features a queen size bed, closet space, high quality bedding, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, AC, and natural light throughout. A comfy, wide couch with bedding can be used in the living room for an extra bed. Brand new shower and replaced flooring in every room. Easy access to I-15, a quick drive to downtown Helena which is full of microbreweries, eateries and shopping, and close to the Capitol complex. We love supporting Helena. We've filled the Airbnb with local art, local authors (we have a famous one in Helena), and local crafters. We also love repurposing and buying used (you'll find us at garage/estate sales most weekends). We've collected treasurers over the years which you will see throughout the space, giving it a cozy non-sterile feeling. The entire guest suite is available for your use. Also, feel free to enjoy the front yard! There is not currently washer/dryer available for use, but there is a laundromat very close by. We're retired and generally around working on a house project. We can have as much or as little contact as you like. We love to travel, so we may not be home during your stay. Our daughter Sarah (who does the decorating and crafting) will be available for anything in that instance. If you have any questions let us know, we are very familiar with Helena. Depending on how much you like to walk we are walkable to the Capitol complex and a few restaurants on 11th Ave. We're a close drive to several trailheads and downtown Helena. It's best to have a car in Helena, as the public transportation is almost non existent. We do have Uber! There is a door from the suite into the main house that will remain locked on both sides.
