Just a few short miles from Eastsound, the Honey BnB perches on the shore of a small pond teeming with wildlife. From the house you might see ducks, herons, geese, kingfishers, eagles, otters, turkeys, and deer among many other types of birds and beasts. A quick walk to the beach and you'll find plenty of skipping stones and an excellent panoramic view across the water. The house itself is a lovely two-story home with an open floor plan and wide windows facing the pond. There is a wood stove for chilly days and french doors to open on hot days. Downstairs is the living area, kitchen, and half bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped to meet your cooking needs, complete with dishwasher and in-sink disposal. The second story is an airy room with a king sized bed, vanity and small walk-in closet. Also upstairs is the master bathroom with dual sinks, shower with double shower heads and large-capacity washer and dryer. You've got it ALL! The whole cabin is yours, along with access to a private pond and public beach access. The Honey BnB is about you feeling at home. I am available and nearby if need be, but prefer to give you the space to relax and unwind. Where the woods meet the shore. The neighborhood has a beach vibe with a cabin in the woods twist. On summer months you may see children playing in the nearby yards, or passerbys exploring the mountain trails. Not too far from town, but removed enough to immerse yourself completely. Public transportation is lacking on Orcas. While there are a few taxis or similar services, it's nice to have your own way of getting from place to place. There are a number of rental car services available as well. I suggest orcascars.com, as they are a young, new company with new cars that are less obviously rentals. The competition will put you in a PT Cruiser. Note: The Honey BnB is NEAR town, but not walking distance.
