The kitchen features large breakfast bar and ample space to cook for all your guests, and opens up onto the great living area with sectional couch doubling as a comfortable full-size sleeper. The master bed is fitted with dreamy tempurpedic queen-sized mattress and memory foam pillows, and is a perfect place to come and flop after a day exploring Brooklyn. Well sunlit throughout but with plenty of privacy if needed, the layout is perfectly suited for a traveling couple or small group looking to stay central to Brooklyn’s best nightlife, but also have space to come home after, put your feet up and fire up Netflix on the huge smart TV. There is a 42-inch work desk with a 27inch monitor + Herman Miller office chair additionally added. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with essentials, and there are plenty of extra blankets, pillows and linens, as well as closet space for you to use. However there is, of course, excellent washer & dryer in-unit for extra convenience. The digitally controlled central air conditioning and heating is great for that added ease and comfort. and makes the place feel welcoming and pleasant during any extreme weather the city throws at you! Williamsburg has quickly become one of New York’s most desirable and lively neighborhoods in the past decade or two, and is a perfect location from which to enjoy the city’s best art, culture and bars whilst still having the more residential and green vibe of Brooklyn. Here you are ideally situated, close to subways and bars/restaurants, and equally near to McCarren Park and the East River for a daily dose of fresh air and nature. Join the excellent bar team at Maison Premiere during Happy Hour for some of the best oysters in New York, sit for a movie, burger and beer at local arthouse cinema Nitehawk, or get your rambunctious bluegrass and boiled peanut fix at lively local watering hole Skinny Denis. If sports are your thing, Scottish pub Iona is the most comfortable hangout around with huge patio and ping pong table, or further north you’ll find happening Bowling Alley bars like the Gutter and Brooklyn Bowl, and for music lovers there are plenty of great venues in the area such as The Music Hall of Williamsburg for gigs both big and small. The Williamsburg scene really is on New York’s cutting edge and you’ll find it easy to get stuck into the cultural diversity on your doorstep. Less than a 10 minute walk to the L train station and a 10 to 15 minutes ride into Manhattan. Also walking distance to the G train and J M Z train. There are also great bus services from Williamsburg plaza such as the B44 and the B44 SBS which service most of Brooklyn. The cost for this clean is $175 and includes basic cleaning and a change of linens and towels. Additionally, I will provide a starter kit of supplies. However, you will be expected to replenish your own basics such as dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Please also note that this apartment is priced as a furnished monthly rental. It is not a serviced rental. While we will continue to care for any maintenance needs that are typical of maintaining the property, you will be responsible for ongoing basic maintenance such as changing lightbulbs or batteries that burned out throughout the course of your stay, tightening screws that may come loose, etc. In addition to this, we may ask you to help us troubleshoot by flipping a circuit breaker, sending photos, or other small tasks. We may also need you to coordinate access if something larger is needed where we need to send a specialist such as a plumber or electrician. Unfortunately, my cleaners do not offer to restock cooking items. I have a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, etc. but do not offer oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. That said, there are stores just a couple minutes away which sell these items. Last, renters insurance is not only highly recommended, but actually required by my building (and therefore of your stay). I recommend Lemonade, which offers insurance for as little as $5/month. Renters insurance covers both you and the home in case of accidents, acts of god, etc. So if unseen fire, flooding, etc. the insurance will actually pay to re-home you and for any personal damage or losses.
