This is a private cliffside home located next to Sandy Bay beach, Nusa Lembongan. The ocean is the masterpiece here - It's easy to spend hours watching the waves crash against the surrounding cliffs and Devil's Tear. This is the perfect place to escape from the bustling Bali and enjoy the simple life. With enough rooms to sleep six people, it can be your own little paradise for a romantic getaway or a beautiful island holiday with friends and family. With views of the ocean, South Bali and Devil's Tear, Dolphins , Turtles and sometimes Mantas are regular visitors . The villa itself has three bedrooms (two with en-suite bathrooms and one upstairs with 2 single beds), a large open living room, inside and outside dining areas, and a private pool with daybeds. The kitchen has all the basic necessities including Nespresso! It's the perfect place to escape from the bustling Bali and enjoy the simple but spectacular Ocean life! A few steps down from the pool is a traditional Indonesian bale, a small wooden gazebo, that is perfect for a siesta by the sea or to watch the sunset over Bali and the Bandung Strait. There are both indoor and outdoor dining areas as well as sofas, sunbeds and beanbags for lounging. The staff can help you with booking boats, tours, scooters, and anything else you might need. If needed, we can organize transport from Bali to Lembongan and then transport from the harbour to Villa Lumba Lumba. Our staff will be waiting for you when you arrive to welcome you to our villa. The staff will be there daily to clean the villa. This includes washing dishes, sweeping floors, making beds, and cleaning the bathrooms. All you have to do is relax! Our staff will help you with anything and Lembongan locals are friendly & helpful. Nusa Lembongan is located to the South East of Bali and one of the three islands that make up the Nusa Penida district. Covering an area of roughly 8km², it much quieter than Bali and has very little traffic. There are a few trucks that are used to transport tourists around the island but the main mode of transport is by foot, scooter or golf buggy. White sand beaches and crystal blue waters are plentiful, and there are several great spots for snorkeling, diving, and surfing. There are several restaurants on the island offering both local and western cuisine. One of the most well-known is Sandy Bay Beach Club (conveniently located only 200m from Villa Lumba Lumba) where they offer delicious food and great cocktails. A suspension bridge connects Nusa Lembongan to Nusa Ceningan, which is an even smaller island but also has lots to explore. Fast boats leave from Sanur Beach which take 30 minutes to get to Mushroom Bay (the closest harbour to us) on Lembongan. From there the boats usually offer transport to our villa, which takes about 10 minutes by truck. Marlin, Tannis and Paradise come into Mushroom bay and Scoot and Rocky to Jungut Batu Beach which is a bit further. Most people hire scooters for about 80,000rp daily ($8) approx, golf carts are also avaiable for hire at 400,000 rp 1/2 day and 700,000rp daily Pushbikes are also available. As this is a house on a semi-remote island, there are a few things that might not be the same as they would at home! The internet can be spotty so at times it may not work perfectly but there isn't much we can do about this and it's the same around the island. Likewise, the electricity also comes through an underwater cable from Nusa Penida and therefore Lembongan is very occassionally prone to short electricity outages. Don't worry! Our staff are minutes away and will come to turn on the generator. The fresh water on Lembongan is sent over from Bali as well, so is in very short supply. Our water heater only heats up small amounts at a time. This means that hot water for showers may run out occasionally, but after a while there will be more! Please note that this is an open air villa in the tropics - this means that geckos, ants and bugs are frequents visitors! We try our best to make sure they stay out but it is beyond our control.
